Great hardware, software, and service!
Just got mine set up yesterday, everything was very quick to set up and test. Wifi connected perfectly, all alarms test and clear much faster than I expected (ie. notifications arrive in less than a minute after the event). Manual is well written, annual service cost after two years ($10/year) is absolutely worth it, though I didn't even notice it when buying. The process for claiming the device as well as the portal for monitoring work very well. The onboard temperature and humidity monitor are actually sensitive enough and have the resolution that I can actually see when my furnace cycles, as the temperature rises and humidity drops by about a percent every half hour, very cool. Quality is great and I expect the unit to last well and is totally worth the peace of mind. A good feature too that in the event of home or unit power loss (when an alarm will most likely occur and rain is falling), a notification will still be provided if the unit fails to check in at a specified interval, which is definitely good preemption to go check the basement. Also nice that the unit doesn't require additional home automation systems, has a rechargeable backup battery, and includes the depth monitor (which the online manual lists as an optional extra) in addition to the high level float.

It works, and it works well.
Bought as a secondary alarm with text notifications and the very next day an alert was sent to me and others that the tank was about to overflow. Found a zip tie had been dropped in the tank and jammed the pump.Easy to install, the wifi is a little cumbersome to setup but not by much. So far a great investment.Customer service was quick to respond with info needed to use in a sewage tank. Added sludge boss float inplace of the included clear water float.

Doesn't maintain calibration
Downgraded from 3 to 1 star after a couple of months use because it keeps resetting/losing water depth data so I just can't trust it.Original review:This is a great idea, and dead easy to install even for a non-DIYer like me - a few cable ties and plugs and you're set.But for some reason the depth monitor doesn't maintain it's calibration.I've recalibrated several times, and each time I've shrunk the water level graph in the app to accurately reflect how full my sump pit is in normal use, which is about 10% before my pump kicks in.But within a few days it forgets that and asserts that the pit is 80 to 100% full even though it's manifestly still no more than 10% full. That doesn't quite make it useless because the graph will grow to over 100% full when there's actually a problem (I've tested that myself) but it's a constant irritation. The app works well, with timely notifications though the UI is a little clunky.

Works great but some connection issues-might be my router. Still testing.
First month worked fine. Second month had connectivity issues. Made some changes per customer support and worked fine for another month. Then started again with connectivity issues where it would go offline for no reason and stay off until I could manually reset. I tried putting unit right next to router. WiFi dbm is -26 which is excellent. Was -56 where I had it previously which is considered very good. It went out a day later. Maybe it’s my router but it works fine for all other devices. I reached out to Level Sense and I have to say customer service is excellent and while they offered for me to return it even though it's been 90 days, they also continue to try to help me resolve. I've provide them my Router info as it might be switching to 5G. So I will continue to try and get it to work since they we nice enough to extend the offer for a refund and the pressure is off and I can take the time to keep testing it. I'm giving 4 stars for now since they are trying to help me out and it's probably my environment that's the issue since most other review are 5 star. When it's connected, it works great. I'll give an update in a couple of months.

Whole house monitor also - lots of options.
Lots of options with this device. I bought it for a sump pump monitor but it does a lot more. Included are sensors for water level, float switch, and wet floor. Built in sensors for temperature, humidity, power, also - the monitoring station will alert if the internet connection is lost. The monitoring station web page you go to has graphs of the tracked information so you can look at trends and make decisions for setting your alarm points. So this thing is a whole house monitor. If heat is lost in winter - low temp alarm, AC dies in summer - high temp alarm. Worried about mold - humidity above 55% - set off alarm. Plus it has built in rechargeable battery backup. Connection was easy - note that the IP address for WiFi on mine came up as 192.168.244.1 instead of the documented 192.168.4.1 so do an ipconfig at a command prompt if using Windows to set up the device to determine the first three numbers. Your computer will be assigned an address on the same network as the sensor. So use the first three numbers then .1 to connect to the config web page.Nice quality - green board sticking out of bottom is where the external sensors are connected. I'm sure there are creative people out there that will think of other sensors to connect to it. The float switch and wet floor connections look for open / close. Alarms can be set for either state. So you can monitor for for empty and dry also. Or possibly connect to a window or door sensor to use as an burglar alarm. Who knows. Something to play with later. Think I'll buy another one.

Wi-Fi connection issues
Easy to install hardware. But getting wi-fi connection established was difficult and required tech support. Also discovered that it does not play well with all wi-fi extenders, if you happen to use one. In this case, it may have difficulty keeping and reestablishing a connection.Even with a strong signal, I experience frequent short wi-fi disconnections that generate “false” alerts. Was unable to find cause for that. Not a huge deal, but the extra alerts might be annoying to some.Overall it does what it’s supposed to. And seems well made.
