Tundra 65 Cooler

Absolutely one fine cooler! Bought it for a week long fishing trip. Caught 60 lbs of fish, froze the fish and put ice on it. Fish stayed frozen all day in the back of a jeep grand wagoneer parked in the sun. Stayed frozen for the 9 hour trip home the next day. Once home the cooler still had some ice 4 days later. Great buy.

Great cooler. Keeps ice for well over two days. Big and hard to manage without help when loaded. Love the storage basket for small items.

The cooler is excellent. At the end of the day, the other brands compare themselves to Yeti which is all you need to know. Should be the last cooler we ever need to buy. They struggled a little with the delivery, clearly because it was large. That should not be new information for these deliveries. Other than that we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Bought this cooler due to unprecedented (105F) March temperatures in Phoenix. RV fridge just couldn’t keep up so we put water and pop in the new Yeti Tundra 65 cooler. Working out great. No block ice available so we add a 16 lb bag of ice daily to keep our drinks nice and cold. I did make a cover from 3mm foam insulation that helps as well. The only complaint I have is that the big water bottles are too tall so I have to lay them on their sides to close the cooler. I suppose that’s a flaw with the water bottles and not the cooler.

First time buying a yeti and I would say I love the color I’m super obsessed with bright colors. It’s huge I can fit way more compared to any other cheap coolers. This actually keeps the ice at a good temperature. The handles are great and durable… they don’t hurt your hands when you pull or carry it unlike other they do. The latches are a great idea because they won’t break like the typical plastic ones so that’s even better. I can’t forget the grip slips underneath the cooler…now that’s something I’ve never seen on a cooler actually. It’s a great idea so there won’t be any sliding or tilting when placed in the trunk of a car or anywhere outdoors where you place it. Overall I’m obsessed with it. I wish yall made a bright pink color or bright neon marble colors.

Going to try it out camping

This is the best cooler I have ever seen i bet it would have worked great sadly I had to return it, it was too heavy for my needs it was 30 pounds empty and by the time I put some ice and food in it it would have been over 50 pounds and too heavy for me to maneuver one and off my boat so keep his in mind if you want one. My only complaint was with Amazon since it is over $300 it takes 30 days before they issue a refund even though they received it two days after I received it ( I returned it the same day it was delivered). But he cooler was well built and deserves all the positive reviews.

So far no issues. I got the 65 just cause of the capacity. They’re built thick and seem durable. I know it’s not for everyone especially with that price tag but overall happy with the purchase and can’t wait to see how it holds up over the years.

I was Leary about the hype of the expensive YETI coolers, but after using it for two camping trips, each 4-5 days, I can say that I am impressed both with the performance, and the build quality of this cooler. I would recommend it to anyone.

We bought the Tundra 65 for use when we have guests and not enough room in our Subzero fridge. It is very heavy, well insulated (thick walls) We packed the bottom with ice and stored veggies, fruit, cold cuts, and meats/chicken (that would be cooked within a few days). The ice has had some melting but most of it is still there after 4 days. It will handle frozen foods for about 24 hrs before they begin the thaw if covered with ice. I would recommend.
