Ideal 45-174 Custom Stripmaster, 16-26 AWG

This is absolutely the best hand-held stripper for notoriously difficult insulation types such as Teflon. The strip of Teflon insulated wire is so precise that the strands don't even untwist! It must be said, however, that the user must insert the wire into the gauge hole VERY carefully and exactly because the wire will not just "fall into place". When used correctly (it takes a little practice) this tool simply can't be beaten short of outrageously expensive thermal strippers. And oh, by the way, it also works extremely well on more "typical" insulation types like PVC. If Mil-Spec. wire stripping is what you're after, this is the stripper to get. It IS expensive, and WELL worth it. I've worked in electronics for many years, and have NEVER found a better wire stripper at any price.
