Great!
Bought this to replace my 4 previous other-branded smoothie makers which have recently gone downhill and just not lasting longer than a month of daily smoothie making! My workmate swears by his nutribullets so I thought I’d splash out and get this baby since I make healthy fruit and veg smoothies every day for my breakfast.Initial inspection I was slightly disappointed at the colour as that’s what attracted me to it 😆It’s not the vibrant bright blue that it looks like in the pictures- more a Matt navy blue. Hey ho that’s why the drop in stars!Used it for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint! Frozen fruit, veg, nuts and seeds along with almond milk and ice it made light work of everything and no issues with lumpy bits!Early days yet but I’ll keep you posted after a few months of work lol 😆

So easy to use
I purchased this as a great way to quickly get my five a day. It’s just so easy to make a smoothie with fresh ingredients in just about a minute

Great machine but doesn't last long
This does what it says blends well and quickly . But the motor does tend to wear out way too soon and has a short life . I have gone through too many so gets expensive

Suddenly become passionate about blending
Been looking for a blender for a while. Deliberated about getting a Vitamix but decided I couldn't justify the cost. Researched Nutribullets and took the plunge on their latest model. So glad I did. This thing is a beast! The auto-stop function is useful as well. Such a powerful and compact appliance. Thrilled with it.

Avoid
I wanted a new blender for raw vegan diet smoothies and juices. I have used inexpensive blenders in the past and they have all served very well....and basically lasted forever.I was taken by the design and ease of use of the Nutribullet and also the 1000 watt motor which is comparatively impressive. I am recovering from a recent stroke and I considered +£100 a reasonable investment under the circumstances.Nutribullet definitely wins the online video comparisons with competitors, however I noticed the reoccurring theme of the motors burning out in written reviews for the brand. On the very first use, I was aware of the slight smell of burning plastic. I made the assumption that maybe some part of the motor unit just needed to 'settle' or perhaps it was even the smell of a new machine. The smell seemed to come and go over the following uses and the performance of the machine was very good. After less than 3 weeks (about 10 drinks) of use and there is literally smoke pouring out of the motor unit....accompanied by a seriously toxic smell of burning 'Whatever'. I can state, from my personal experience, that an electrical appliance that makes that smell and is prone burning, cannot be safe to be around. I invite anyone to convince me otherwise. I will not plug it in again again and I will not use it again. It is simply a wasted +£100.I add ice cubes to my drinks, but otherwise, I cannot admit to overloading the container. The entire experience is hugely disappointing. The reviews regarding burnout are absolutely correct and I cannot recommend the Nutribullet product. I highly suggest avoiding being tempted by favourable demonstrations and simply avoid the product.
