I HAVE HAD PULLED MUSCLES IN MY HEEL AND ANKLE FOR 3 MONTHS NOW, FROM CLIMBING MY 6' LADDER OVER 300 TIMES IN A 10 DAY PERIOD TO REMODEL MY BEDROOM JUST BEFORE THANKSGIVING 2025. I JUST WENT TO THE PODIATRIST TO SEE WHY IT WOULDN'T HEAL, AND THEY TOLD ME TO DO STRETCHES AND USE ICE AND HEAT, BUT I WAS STILL DEALING WITH THIS INTENSE STABBING PAIN IN MY HEEL. I DECIDED TO TRY THIS FRONT LOADING VIVE WEDGE TO TAKE SOME OF THE WEIGHT OFF OF MY HEEL, AND IT'S WORKING GREAT. I'M FEELING BETTER, AND THE PAIN IT SLOWLY GOING AWAY. IT FITS REALLY WELL, AND IS LIGHT, SO THAT I DON'T FEEL LIKE I'M WEARING A LEAD SHOE. I HAVE ALSO GONE OUT AND WORKED IN MY GARDEN WEARING IT, SO IT'S VERY DURABLE.

I ordered this for my 90 year-old at home, who had a heel ulcer. She’s very mobile with her walker and required a shoe that would cover her wound and provide safety placement of the foot while walking. I highly endorse this, not affiliated with anyone. This really worked out for nearly 4 months of her recovery. She used it to go to church and family outings, it offered normal balance for her to walk. I cleaned it often with a normal disinfecting, wipe and let it air dry. It offered comfortable Velcro to adjust. I am a nurse and I highly recommend this shoe for any person who may have a heel or calcaneus procedure, heal, spur, or ulcer that is being treated.

I have been unable to walk due to a very painful heel condition (feels like one big bruise). I tried crutches but they were a pain. A scooter is also a headache to maneuver. Then I found this wedge shoe. My life has changed as now I can walk with little pressure on my heel. The quality is outstanding & it is built to last. Some complain that the material it's made out of is too hard but that's what makes it so durable & enables me to walk anywhere (little pebbles rarely get stuck in the ridged sole) & gives the shoe its utility. I suggest wearing a sock with it so as not to soil the shoe also, after you set the toe velcro the way you want it, leave it alone & just adjust the strap (which I shortened using pinking shears) when you slip the shoe off & on. This has been a game changer for me & so glad that I finally discovered this (though finding it a few weeks earlier would have saved me a lot of hobbling around). I was concerned that the sole would be too thick & make one leg longer than the other but paired with a running shoe on the other foot, I see no difference. This is one good product! My foot is a size 7-7.5 & I got the small size (my toes come to the very edge of the shoe) a medium might have been the better size choice but I like the snug way this one feels. If you are enduring heel pain for one reason or another, this will give you fantastic relief as it puts the weight more on the ball of the foot.

The off-loading shoe came apart at the heel. It became useless as it separated further. I ordered a second shoe later, and it seems to be doing better. The first one appeared to not have been assembled properly.

heel recovery shoe (using for heel-spur/plantar fasciitis) Pro: good for short term use,, easy to walk in, able to place my own orthotics inside to have arch support, & pressure is relieved from most of the heel not all of the heel. Con: I have been using it daily, from January 2023-3/17/2023, and it ripped completely apart. Although, it relieves some pressure off of the middle and back part of the heel, it doesn’t relieve the front pressure of the heel. No arch support included.

I have a few of these, unfortunately not ever where I am. While it helps bursitis of the heel, be careful not to wear continuously. Will shorten your Achilles which is not what you want. Roll your ankles and smaller achilles flexes to relieve as well

Just used my shoe for the first time. What a relief! Have been hobbling around for a week trying not to put my heel down, it was painful & exhausting. Now I can walk again without the intense heel pain. Bit of advice, try matching your other shoe to the same height as the Vive shoe. Makes walking so much easier. Thanks for the quick delivery, it’s made such a difference.
