On a stock 2014 Genesis Coupe Premium 2.0t the install was pretty easy but with some caveats: My first recommendation is to buy a separate 3.5”-4.5” metal hose clamp (at a local hardware store) as it was impossible to connect the 3.5” turbo tube side to the intake tube with the #56 hose clamp included. The one included does not allow to properly tie down the two parts safely and with longevity. I also had to snip the Evap tube by an inch as it was too long at stock length or there would be bending on the tube between the intake tube vent and the Evap nozzle. Other than those two caveats install was pretty straightforward. Immediately driving the car for a test drive and letting off the gas at over 3k rpm you will hear a furious “psssh” noise coming from the turbo. I didn’t really feel a difference in torque or HP. Maybe it’s there but was very minimal. Not enough to pull you in your seat upon acceleration. Overall being the original Genny owner now for 10yrs I’m kicking myself on why I didn’t do this mod earlier. I guess due to the dealer warranty. :-) Highly recommended if you want your Genny to sound like a sleeper.

Wow! You want your car to sound amazing, buy this! I could barely hear my turbo on my 2013 Gen Coupe Spec R. Once installed it was like I was lining up to race Dom for slips in Fast & Furious. This was hands down the best purchase for improving the performance and overall sound of the car. Highly recommend!

Installed into a 2013 genesis coupe 2.0t premium. Install was really easy, and I was absolutely shocked by how much better the car sounds. The Hyundai stock intake has a silencer which makes the car sound like a typical family sedan stock. This intake completely opens up the sound of the turbo and BOV. One tip that can help is to retain the top/grill portion of the stock intake, since it takes outside air and feeds it in right behind the passenger's side headlight (where this intake sits). It sends cold air nicely behind the heat shield, no modifications needed.

Terribly disappointed with the quality of the product. Buying a cold intake system from the world's best manufacturer of sports filters had high expectations, especially for such a price. Instructions with black and white pictures of terrible quality. The rubber seal included is just a piece of cheap universal seal that you need to cut yourself. 2 out of 3 hose clamps from the kit did not fit in size and I had to buy suitable ones. There is an excessive amount of fasteners, 2 bolts in the kit are so short that it is impossible to screw a nut on them, the other 2 bolts are too long and stick out even when using several washers. The air shield included in the installation cuts off half of the air coming out of the oem air duct, which is installed above the bumper. So half of the air flow flies past the cold intake system. To fix this, you need to change the fasteners of the air shield and bend the shield. Terribly disappointed with the purchase and installation process. K&N makes the best sports filters in the world, but I highly do not recommend buying a cold intake system for this car and paying almost $400 for just the filter. I am sure that any Chinese cold intake system will not be worse in quality, because it could not be made worse.
