I love this helmet. It’s an investment but I’ve wanted it for a long while. I have been riding in a Shoei Neotec for about 4 years. This carbon helmet is just slightly lighter, and a little bigger shell overall size than the Shoei. But it does not make your head look huge like the Bell modular. This helmet is a little louder than my Shoei. The finish is good, and I love the peripheral view. It is so much easier to see out of. Overall very satisfied with the materials and the fit. I wear a 2X in the Shoei and a XL in the Simpson fits just right. I have over 1000 miles in it and am very happy.

Light weight and looks good but before even test it out on a ride I noticed the inside of the face of the helmet and it was missing a screw on the bottom which made the chin screen loose then looked up a little more and a screw was sitting at a 45° angle and notice that where it screws into was cracked and the entire side was just loose. 1 star might be harsh but I’m not satisfied at all for a $700+ lid. If you order a Simpson Mod Bandit size down too btw.
