Reduces the need for scraping the bowl.
I bought this beater for my Kitchenaid K45 mixer to replace the original paddle which had begun to chip, and it fits well and works well. I have used it several times now for cake batter and frosting, and it makes a huge difference in how quickly everything comes together. The one issue I had was when you start the mixer, this beater can cause liquid ingredients to splash if you add too much liquid at once. I am now more cautious when starting the mixer, and it has worked great. Iam very pleased with the purchase, and the price was great.

Nice replacement for original
I had to replace my last one that only had one scraper, and was chipping. This one is nicer due to the dual scrapers
