Don't usually write reviews, but WELL DONE PACIFICA! Such a planet-conscious, cruelty-free, naturally-focused company and they come up with an amazing mascara too. The price compared to other designer mascaras is not too high; I don't mind spending it for this as opposed to nearly $30 for something that was vegan & cruelty-free but flaked all over my face. I thought the wand was kind of a silly gimmick but it actually does its job! I also felt that the look of the wand was not going to be good for volume (guess I always equated full bushy brush=full bushy lashes). It just combs right through my lashes, and when I turn it for the second coat, it surprisingly voluminizes and lifts! It doesn't flake on my face, and if I was sloppy when applying I can wipe it off easily. It's hard to be sloppy with it though, the wand is so lovely and precise. If i feel I need to reapply after many hours, it can take another coat and still be beautiful. It's a natural look while bringing volume and length. I'm so glad there aren't pieces of mascara flaking all over my face at any given time. Not to mention its made of vitamins and minerals! I used to use my homemade lash serum (castor oil/vitamin e) religiously but find myself using it less and still seeing my natural lashes longer and fuller. All around beautiful product... does beautiful things for your body (lashes) and makes them look even more beautiful when made up.

I am a huge fan of this mascara. To begin with, the packaging is ah-dorable! Who doesn't love unicorns? And perfect for such a unique product. I wasn't sure how the mascara would convert from a thick short brush to a long brush, and worried that it would be just two different brushes (and I imagine that would be messy) but it wasn't the case! There is some mechanism inside the mascara brush that compresses and expands the brushes when you twist the cap - so clever! My favorite mascara ever. It's a little pricey-er than I would like for it to be, but honestly I think it's worth it. It can provide simple or dramatic coverage and various lash looks based on how many layers you use and if you use the short, long or both brush styles. The long brush is for lengthening your lashes and the short brush is for volume. Use them in that order for maximum effectiveness! Also, it's very important to me to use vegan and cruelty-free products and this product (and the entire brand) hits both those checkmarks! Pros: cute packaging vegan cruelty-free unique 2 styles of brushes to get the look you want not prohibitively expensive not clumpy Cons: Not waterproof

This is one of the better natural mascaras I've used. Most importantly, I have had very minimal mascara flake off and end up in my eyes. That is what I care about most! 😆 This mascara also has good coverage. Lastly, maybe I don't get out much, but the twist feature that lengthens or shortens the wand is so fun!! 😄

okay so I am a sucker for marketing...when that marketing includes unicorn magic that is! Luckily the mascara is everything I wanted, I only knocked down a star as I didn't really find it buildable and until it dries it tends to smudge... I admit I should be more patient waiting after application, and once dried (couple minutes at most it is pretty smudge free). It is a great every day mascara, it defines and darkens my natural lashes and does not flake irritating stuff in my eyes, in fact I generally forget I have it on. It does not really add volume or length, which is fine for me as my main problem is my blonde lashes tend to be invisible, but I recommend something else if you want more vavavoom. PROS: - good dark black - no clumping at all - non-irritating (I tend to have sensitive eyes) - stays put. I have worn working out, accidentally falling asleep, and with a cold. - easy to remove (this is a big plus for me) - fun package - good value - vegan and natural product CONS - does not add length or volume - take a little bit to dry initially and will leave wet paint marks where my lashes hit my lids

I really wanted to love this product. I love the company and buy almost all my cosmetics from them. However, compared to Stellar Gaze, this mascara is disappointing. Stellar Gaze provided me volume & length. I have long, thin, translucent lashes so that's not an easy task! I wanted to try this new product because Stellar Gaze dries out so quickly and gets really thick and unusable more quickly than other mascaras I've used. This product comes with a really neat wand design -- you twist the end of the cap and the brush scrunches up so the bristles are closer together for volume, or you twist the other way to spread them out for more length. Unfortunately, the brush itself is really light on bristles so it doesn't do anything to add volume or length. If the brush were thicker with a LOT more bristles, it might work far better. Also, the mascara itself is just too wet, thin, and slippery. It barely adheres to my lashes, so I have to use several coats. But because it takes so long to dry, it's a bit of a process and I don't have time for that. Plus, it does smudge the eyelid very easily as you apply it because it is so wet and slippery. And that, too, takes a long time to dry. But you can't try to remove it with a cotton swab until it's dry, or else you'll ruin your still-wet lashes. The formula needs to be thickened. Finally, oh, the raccoon eyes. This stuff smudges very, very easily, and flakes off shortly after application. By lunchtime, I notice both flakes and smudges under my eyes. This happens even when I only wear it on my top lashes. And it happened even when I only wear it on my top lashes AND I apply a drying powder all over my eyes and lashes before application. Makes no difference. By the end of the workday, I have substantial black smudging under my eyes. Every single day. *Sigh* It's so disappointing. I really, really wanted to like this product. Back to Stellar Gaze, I suppose.

As an Esthetician, ingredient researcher, and longtime very satisfied user of Pacifica's Stellar Gaze Mascara, I was super excited to see this newer formula. My thought was that if I was happy with the Stellar Gaze, then surely this pricier version promising more benefit must be even better. Most unfortunately this was not at all the case for me. Immediately upon opening this mascara tube I noticed that the product appeared very dry. It actually felt like the applicator wand was dipping into a months old dried up tube versus what one would expect from a brand new product. Upon first application I noticed the very scant amount of mascara on the wand was not really transferring onto my lashes. After about eight tries to create the relatively natural ( perhaps slightly more) sort of look that I am accustomed to, I finally began to see some serious clumps appear here and there with areas that seemed sparse despite my attempted application to all lashes. I foolishly continued to try using this product here and there over the e last 2 weeks or so, as I am nearly out of the Stellar Gaze formula, yet I am still having the same result. I am now noticing that some lashes are falling out in the areas where I had developed those un-intended clumps despite my care to remove this mascara properly. On the bright side, Pacifica's the Stellar Gaze formula at only $14 is my choice for longer, fuller lashes, and decent ingredients without clumping, uneven coverage, or as in my experience with this product, a fairly notable loss of lashes.

Great mascara! Goes on easy and stays on for good 24 hours! Volume and length results are amazing! I always have issues with mascaras running, sweaty eyes or something, but this one doesn't budge. The brush bristles are short and a bit tough, but it seems to help with application, like not getting on my eyelids. It does clump a bit, but not bad at all, the brush makes it easy to smooth or remove those. Cruelty free is the main reason I bought it, but now I love it for the way the product is as well! All in all, I found my new favorite mascara!!!

I have used this mascara for over 5 years. It’s my holy grail. It’s buildable from a casual day look to a dark, luscious, going out look. It doesn’t smudge, flake or smear (unless you forget you’re wearing it and rub your eyes…) and always washes clean, even with my extra gentle facial cleanser. I’ve gotten so so many compliments on it and always recommend it. The natural aspect of it is icing on the cake!

Mi esposa pidió este producto y quedó encantada, realmente se le ven más largas y con volumen sus pestañas. Se ve guapísima. Los ingredientes tampoco le generaron alergia ni irritación, el único detalle es que si le cae agua se quita muy fácil. Muy fácil de quitar con desmaquillante.

I love this mascara. I'm always trying new mascaras that are vegan and cruelty free, and this one ticks all the boxes for me! It doesn't clump up or flake off, and it's gentle around the eyes, no more eyes watering for me! I love the two different effects you can achieve with the adjustable wand, either choose the lengthening, for fluttery eyelashes(it really pulls them up) this is what I choose to do for more of a day look, and then the volumising look, is very dramatic, for me this is perfect for a night out without having to bother with uncomfortable falsies! The only bit of advice I would give, when dipping the wand into the mascara I prefer to have the bristles set on the lengthening mode, to get all the glossy mascara into each bristle, and then twist the wand to the alternative wand if this is what you choose to have! You won't be dissapointed, this is now my favorite mascara!

A pesar de que no es a prueba de agua, no te baja el rizo de las pestañas. Me gustó bastante, y sorprendió su doble cepillo, muy buen producto.

Was searching for a twisting mascara that was cruelty free for ages but this was worth the wait! Applies really nicely with no clumps & gives my lashes a natural but "fake lashes" look! Would definitely recommend!
