Easy setup n go
I’m a technophobic petite human. But I needed to get the humidity in the bedroom area down during the summer and got desperate enough to buy one last year. It had a pump so I thought it would leave me with no work. But having zero experience with such things, I wound up with a very loud rattling sound through the night and parked the monstrosity in the basement, where it keeps things cool and dry. This year I checked out reviews on YouTube for quiet humidifiers and came across one where the guy did a pile of research on quiet dehumidifiers and wound up with this one. It was called something else at the time but a little sleuthing unearthed this puppy. He was right. This is so much more quiet and unobtrusive than last year’s unit. I love it. It was a little heavy for me to lift out of the box but beyond that, installation was simple. I put it in my room, took off the tape, plugged it in, and that was it.It started humming. It sucked water out of the air. Periodically I dump the water out. But I don’t care. The noise factor was far more important to me than anything else. There is no point in having one of these things in your bedrooms if it’s making a racket. In fact, I love it so much that I got a second one a week later. They’re designed for small spaces. I don’t mind the additional cost. I finally just installed the second one near the bathroom in the same bedroom area and now the whole floor (200-250 sqft) is nice and dry. It’s middle of the summer. It’s usually wet as rain. But not anymore. It’s nice and dry.And QUIET.Works great. My only complaint is that it beeps a million times when you take out the bucket. I haven’t let it get to “full” for that reason because a full bucket would trip off all those chirps. Last thing I need is for it to wake everyone up in the middle of the night. I wish there were a way to choose the number of beeps or type of chirp. Maybe have a Bluetooth component with an app where it can alert you that the unit has stopped and water needs clearing. But I’m not docking off stars for that because it’s really just great for the price, performance, value, quiet, and description.

Take the humidity out of the room, which it does
It has a shallow container to get the condensed water out of the air works great when we have humidity use the water on my plants. Nothing goes to waste great machine.

Great dehumidifier but some problems
In purchased to keep the moisture down inside our RV. I wanted a solid unit and not one of the cheaper, non-compressor units. It does a great job dehumidifying. I am very happy with its power. Mind you, i am using this for 250sqf area (much smaller than its rating) but the area is not well insulated. Two problems:(1) minor: the lights are too bright. At night we have to cover the display.(2) substantial: i almost returned it for this reason but found a solution. I need to use a drain hose for constant dehumidifying. If the hose is not perfectly sloped down and the water accumulates at any part of the hose, the drain wont work! It will divert the water in the bucket and shuts off if the bucket is full. This is because of air pressure which builds between the spout and the place where water accumulates. I solved this by making a tiny hole on the top the hose, right before it connects to the spout of the dehumidifier. Now water drips away because the air pressure is relieved. Of course, if your hose is perfectly sloped down, then you will have no problems. In my case the hose had to go down, then slightly up and then down. Now i am happy with the unit, it keeps my RV dry.

Quiet and Effective
TL/DR Quiet, effective, compact, quiet, inexpensive and quiet. Only a short lifespan would prevent me from purchasing another.I needed a dehumidifier that worked and was quiet, the Luko 2000 did not disappoint. It was packaged well and shipped in it's original box with no damage. It was easy to set up and get running, I opted to leave the wheels off to keep the dogs from relocating it. My house is 1800 sq ft with about 1100 of that on the first floor, the Luko 2000 is keeping the humidity hovering around 50% no matter what the outside humidity is. We have a full basement with a 4500 sq ft Midea Cube running. The basement unit wasn't able to keep the upstairs dry alone. The Luko 2000 on high with a setpoint of 50% will fill the bucket 3 times a day if the humidity is high enough to need constant running. The bucket is small and located on the back of the unit. It's easy to reach behind and remove it for emptying, just leave a foot or so of space behind the unit. I don't have an easy way to use the continuous drain feature. For me the most impressive feature is the low noise, even on high fan setting. It's about 6' behind my chair, I can hear it but it is not obtrusive. I can watch TV without raising the volume. How your space is set up will affect how much you hear it, but it makes about the half the noise that a window air conditioner does, quieter than a floor fan on high but not quieter than a mini split AC unit.

Best Dehumidifier I have used.
This thing works amazing! I use this in my travel trailer/RV. Been living in the PNW the past winter season (rainy and humid season) and was super concerned. Bought this and this kept my inside of my trailer nice and dry! The noise is so quiet and the only time I notice it is when it beeps to let me know it’s full. It’s a solid not super heavy dehumidifier. The design and way it works is pretty straight forward anyone can figure it out. It also comes with instructions too.
