The Bar Book: Elements of Cocktail Technique

It tells you the basics and how to do it correctly. Sometimes it feels like the author is stretching the topic a bit though the general style of writing is ‘conversational’ which is okay. A lot of people rave about this book and I have to say I was initially a bit nonplussed; just about every cocktail book has a few chapters on technique (which in my opinion nine times out of ten is padding) but revisiting this book a few times has made me appreciate it more.

Excellent book for new or experienced bartenders!Don't expect in-depth molecular recipes, but it's simple, to the point, non-patronising and full of practical advice.A must have for any cocktail enthusiast's collection.

Nice read. Lots of tips on drinks and preparation.
