It is kind of a no-brainer to have a set of these.
Man, was I sore when I purchased a new M.2 drive for my PC and learned it did not come with a standoff and screw to secure it to the motherboard. By this time, I was sick of always being short of some sort of electronic screw for an issue of this nature. Seems I was always short a case screw of some sort. I have no idea of the quality of these screws. Then again, they are not under an extreme load either. I just know I was upset with myself for not purchasing a pack like this long ago. Since I have had it, I have used it more than I care to admit. It is not just good for PC, but other electronics around the house as well. I was surprised some of the screws fit in other things like a Raspberry PI and an old router I had that lacked a few screws.

It ain't got everything, but I still use it years after I bought it. I bought it for the case standoffs, but I've used every screw compartment at least once.

Sets are required for complete new build
This kit comes with what one might need for a complete build, except for m2.2 screws. For many years, MOBO's used to come with all you need, but they wanted to save a few pennies, and don't provide you the hardware anymore. As far as the m2.2 SSD screws, fortunately, (some) MOBO makers figured out, they needed to make tool less mounts.In my situation, I have hardware screws from over 30 years PC building, but I needed flat HHD drive screws, for the cage enclosure. There are situations, where you cannot substitute. Flat PC screws are probably the hardest to come by.MOBO stand off's and screws are not all equal or universal. I built a PC for a friend and the tower came with some screws and stand offs, but were so cheap, they stripped immediately. Huge lesson learned about hardware, and trying to fix broken screws in stand off's is a huge PIA. I did not use the ATX stand off's in this kit.For the price is better to have it than not need it, than need it and not have it.

kit provided what screws i needed for a motherboard and i have extra screws if they come needed but i certainly have more than enough screws for quite awhile with this kit
