Arrived early and in new condition! This book was recommended to me by my daughter. I already have many recipes in mind that I plan to make! A lovely addition to my Gooseberry Patch collection (all of which are plastic comb versions). I prefer this version because they stand nicely on a bookstand as they flatten out. Very happy with my purchase.

I hesitated to buy this book because I don't really do country-cute homespun stuff. But don't cut off your nose to spite your face, because it's got some great recipes. I recommend the tomato, basil, and spinach soup in particular! And the gingham folksiness is kept to a minimum. Charming little cookbook.

So many recipes already flagged to make. Gooseberry Patch continues to publish wonderful cookbooks!
