Batteries matter
I have no problem with this BP machine. I bought batteries from Dollar Tree and within 2 weeks I was changing the batteries. Bought better batteries and they seem to last longer. Avoid cheap batteries.

THIS IS NOT ACCURATE
I have one, but the switch is getting a bit worn from use and it is sometimes balky starting. My Diastolic usually runs around 60 and rarely at 70 - 72. Systolic does vary. About 80% of the time is below 140, but sometimes it can be 150 - 160. Pretty much situational. I took it a while ago and it was 158 over 100. The other one, was 139 over 72. The other one is a Slight Touch. The cuff on this one is not right and too long and overlapping a bunch as compared to the one on the Slight touch.

accuracy counts
the only reason for buying one of these is for accurate results, right? my MD said my BP was a bit higher than normal, and did 3 readings while i was there, to convince me. so i knew my range in general, and went to work to lower it.i purchased this item due to favorable reviews, and began to increase walking and decrease calories. when it came, i read the tiny print to make sure i was up to date. . .i'm a long retired nurse. i was quite surprised to find it reported my systolic to be 30 points higher, and dyastolic 10 points higher than what i'd expect. i found after several days of usage, the results were highly variable and all high.i did give it 2 stars because it is otherwise easy to use, and came complete. but accurate it is not.

Works great. Instructions small - hard to read.
Works very well.... nice large screen and bright display. Setting up date/time, etc.... takes a bit, and the manual is so small difficult to read, even with reading glasses. Once set up works fine and happy with it. Also good price compared to my $80 hospital type unit.

Easy Set Up
With minimal setup effort, this meter is so very easy to use. It appears to be very accurate. The arm cuff has some of the strongest velcro I have ever experienced!
