Bought this bug killer in the middle of winter, and lo and behold, overnight it killed two flies and a moth that I didn't even know were in my house! It is so simple to use, just plug it in. There's no noise, which makes it perfect for our open-concept house at night. The UV lamp is bright, you can see it reaching the corners that are well over 25' away from the lamp. Never heard the flies and moth hitting the electrocution grid during the night, so I can't say if that makes any noise. But if it did, it wasn't much. The dead bug collector on the bottom releases with a simple twist, empties clean. We used it just sitting on a table, but it does come with a convenient metal hanging loop, like you have on a key chain. Since we are surrounded by cattle ranches, the flies can be a problem during the summer, and we're sure this bug killer will take care of that situation.

I used this in my kitchen on a shelf for 2 days as soon as it arrived due to some fruit flies that had gotten in (I blame the bananas). I never noticed this zap em, but sure enough they were in the bottom of the trap when I opened it to check. Then hung it in my garage to keep any flies or mosquitos from infiltrating the house now that the weather is warming up and sure enough I found several flies when I checked it again. I never saw them go in so I didnt notice any zaps, so I might have to spend an evening with it on my patio to watch and see if we can tell when a bug meets its doom to this thing.

I love this bug zapper! It's caught many bugs already! We got this because when it's "mosquito season," it's literally like a video game trying to avoid them! We have a pond and a hot tub, so those suckers are all over us! (I will modify my review when that time comes! :) ) The build quality is excellent, and I must say that I love the black light color! I included a picture during the day, but it looks even cooler at night <3 Very satisfied and would recommend this product!

Works good. If you are using inside the house make sure the lights in that room are off so the purple light will attract the flies. It did very well the 1st night I tried it. Can't wait to try it outside.

I took this to work with me because there are mosquitoes everywhere... It really seemed to help. It's pretty easy to clean out too. I do wish the cord was longer because I had to figure out how to get it hung where I wanted it. Other than that, I would totally recommend it.

Super easy to use! I have been testing it around my backyard and I had no idea how many little bugs I had flying around. Purchased this to use for summertime when we go camping, I can't wait to see what it can do then! Great purchase!

This is amazing.. easy to clean no hassle no mess. Plus is a nice nightlight that keeps the insects off u.. the sound isnt bothersome an its not hard on electric.. i absolutely love this...

Very easy to use and LOVE the longer electric cord. Made it much easier for a porch hang. Not extremely bright, but just right and serves its purpose of zapping bugs well lol.
