The Q9U does not require a battery. That is a mix up in Amazon's specs The Q9U works with any mixer or preamp using an XLR cable without additional power needed. If connecting the Q9U to a computer, it receives power via the USB cable.

its not working with my audio interface, does it need phantom power?

Will this work with new iPad 2021 iOS usb c without an interface?

Not sure But I’ve connected an audio interface to a powered usb hub and connected that to a camera dongle of iPhone, to lighting And when using apps to record it works Apogee MetaRecorder allowed to record the cap of 24 bit/ 96KHz where other were limited to their own cap, some around 48 KHz But it works, on one is just that it seemed to record on the left only, since the microphone is mono, and then seem to record stereo, further refinement is needed but again it works with that way Usb c should work
