Famemaster Corsair 4D Puzzle

This item is more of a scale model kit of moderate detail than a "puzzle". I guess what makes this a "puzzle" rather than simply a pre-painted "un-assembled model kit" is that the assembly instructions are such that you need to "puzzle" it out. Some of the parts will not stay in place without glue others are very small and may require tweezers to handle. I used good old Testors tube modeling glue in the red tube, as I think that the liquid kind would make it very difficult to avoid ruining the paint . One particular hint: the rockets seem to be side specific so before you go putting each of them on (especially if you use glue) either carefully compare the tab to the hole and/or pre-fit before apply glue. Since it is pre-painted it could be nice transition form purely snap kits or building blocks to scale model building. I would highly recommend the guidance of an experience plastic model builder to help a youngster put this together. The instructions seem to encourage speed of assembly, that should be downplayed. I have been building plastic models of various types for over forty years, and I took an leisurely half hour to put this together. All said and done I ended up with a decent display model that any twelve year old could be proud of. I recommend the following supplies to help: Tweezers, Tube type plastic model cement (glue), a tooth pick or similar, to aid in applying glue.

Looks very good, a bit difficult to fix. Some parts are very small and fragile.

Nice model for the price but the landing gear was a problem, I had to use silicone to attach the wheels

Of course it won't be great as academy or Tamiya models but this is cheaper and easy build with pre painted kits. I will put some panel liners. Some parts you might need some cement glue.

Muy mal calidad, al momento de ensamble las piezas no quedan unidas y no se ajustan. Aparte el instructivo debería ser más amplio está muy simple ya que las piezas son muy pequeños y se pierden en el dibujo.
