HeatGear Armour Compression Shirt

I've been wearing Under Armour compression gear for years, and this Men's UA HeatGear Armour Compression Long-Sleeve is easily one of the best I've owned. I easily give it 5 stars without hesitation. The compression is so spot-on – it's ultra-tight like a second skin, providing great support without feeling restrictive. It really hugs my arms and shows off the biceps nicely when I'm lifting or running, which is a nice bonus for motivation at the gym! The material feels premium: super smooth, lightweight, and high-quality with that signature HeatGear tech that wicks away sweat and keeps you cool even during intense sessions. Breathability is excellent thanks to the strategic mesh panels, and the 4-way stretch lets me move freely – no pulling or bunching. I've worn it for weight training, cardio, and even as a base layer on cooler days, and it performs flawlessly every time. After several washes, it still looks brand new – no fading, pilling, or loss of elasticity. They absolutely stink! Pooooey, gross. Smells goes on first wash. Good fit, good stretch, good stitching. I’m 6’5”, and 105kgs. They’ve made me realise how fat I am. I bought 2 of them to go under bike leathers. I also bought 2 of the matching bottoms, also to go under motorcycle gear. The nearest competitor is Alpinestars for heat/ breathable under garments and these are one third the price. Just in case you forget your name or share laundry facilities with other inmates, there is a handy label on the back, by the neck to write your name!

Comfortable fabric making it an easy wear for long sessions , helps reduce sweat on skin by absorbing it. Did my 100km bike race wearing it and I can't complain at all ... Fits tight , good compression , very functional kit , keeps it's size after putting it in the wash many many times , good value for money . Only thing I wish is that it's legnth was less as you end up folding the base multiple times for improved comfort.

Wore this for a cycling event in Scotland, brilliant piece of kit an absolutely done the job wicking and kept me a a comfortable temperature, definitely size up, wore this under a short sleeve cycling jersey, without question this is my base layer of choice going forward from now.

Great fit

used it for golf in recent heatwaves nearly 4 hours in over 30*c, did feel cool when there was a breeze. definitely need to order a size larger, worked well and good value.

I had a Nike compression top from a few years ago which was getting a bit long in the tooth so I was on a the lookout for a replacement. I went for the Under Armor top purely because it was the first one I came across that categorically stated it had a cooling effect and I'd heard of the brand name. I'm very pleased I didn't overthink the purchase as the fit on this product is better than my Nike top. The arms on the Nike one are a bit short and I have to keep pulling it down to cover my wrists but the UA one has a little extra length which is perfect as it caters for the little movement that occurs naturally. The main body fits nicely and overall it is very comfortable. I am 5'9" with a 40" chest and "square" torso and the medium size fits perfectly. The only thing I had an issue with was the neck line; it's fairly high even though I don't have a particularly thick neck so people with a boxer's neck may find it a bit restrictive around the throat! It wasn't uncomfortable but I did notice it as soon as I put it on so I'm mentioning it in case people out there like a slightly looser fitting neck area. The main winner for me though is the cooling effect. It's tremendous. I generally wear this under a t-shirt and you can immediately feel the cooling effect when a bit of breeze hits any area where you are perspiring. I even felt this in the areas that were directly under the t-shirt. As long as there is a little bit of air movement, it will allow the moisture to evaporate and create a cooling sensation. In terms of aesthetics, I'm not mad keen on over badged items with motifs all over the place so I like that there isn't anything on the sleeves. As per the images, there is a logo on the upper chest and upper back and the brand name on the rear neck-line which is OK in my opinion. Any more and it would be overkill. The stich detail on the front, rear and arms is quite a nice distraction without being too shouty.

It is simple if you are size M- UK then buy the XL. Always up-size by 2 sizes. Quality is good specially for running under cold weather.
