You cannot beat Pennzoil
Pennzoil has always been the best oil for automotive, heavy equipment, air cooled, marine, rough service, and high performance applications. A high quality oil with excellent lubrication. I have seen engines in cars and pickups that have used nothing but Pennzoil last for 375k to over 500k+ miles. Pennzoil has an oil for everyone. I use Pennzoil in everything because I trust their products. Over the years I have always called Pennzoil technical on the phone if I had any questions and they have always suggested which was the best choice for my application. Here is a myth that upsets me. People think Pennzoil will sludge an engine. As long as you are using the correct oil for your application you will have no problems. All of the oil related problems or failures I have seen were caused by a person making the wrong decision. Don't believe me ? Go ask Lake Speed Jr about oil he is more knowledgeable than me.I have no leaks, no oil burning, better milage, great oil pressure, easy starting, and the engine I am running this oil in has over 170k miles on it. The engine has ran Pennzoil for fourty years and I changed from conventional, to conventional high mileage, and now to this new formula. Before choosing I was told by Pennzoil technical this would be best choice for my application. As for cost Pennzoil has always been a little expensive. I know that in the long run I save money and a lot of headaches by choosing Pennzoil.

Happy with product. The delivery, not so much.
Always been very happy with this Pennzoil product. Have been using it for several years and my vehicles are in great condition for being high mileage. Definitely recommend the value for money if you are in need. The synthetic oil protects my engine very well! The only thing I was not happy about with this last order is that when delivered it shows that it was handed directly to a resident and signed for by XXX (me). However, it was left on the front porch and nobody actually signed it. This makes me concerned that delivery would indicate that when it did not happen. What happens if it is a high dollar item and the driver says that but the order is either stolen or taken by the delivery driver?

Great Oil For Subaru's Turbo Boxer Engines
Up until now I had been using Mobil 1 and Kirkland brand synthetics in our Subaru Ascent. However, the Pennzoil Platinum is an excellent substitute for my 2019 Subaru Ascent's factory recommended 0W-20 OEM oil, and, much better for your car unless you do lots of short trips every day. We live in the country where temps range from about 15F to 90F and the shortest trip is at least 30 miles, so we don't even drive every day. Tests show 5W-30 is a better choice for our use and the new Pennzoil uses a high purity GTL base stock which is superior to petrol based stocks. And the best part, it is no more expensive than the average synthetic engine oil.

Go with the 3-pack to increase value and reduce order frequency.
This is a follow-on to a review I submitted for another Pennzoil synthetic, where I praised the product based on a number of criteria. This particular review highlights the value of the 3 jug cases of 5 quart bottles. If the particular Pennzoil synthetic oil you want is out of stock or subject to a limited quantity, check the 3 packs. They are sometimes available when the singles aren't. Plus, the price per bottle is often slightly better, letting you lock in the savings and reduce how often you have to order. It's the same great product with respect to engine protection, cooling and ease of handling.

Great oil
They make great oil, its usually the cheapest as well, not sure if high mileage really makes a difference or not but I listen to what it says, whatever it was 75 or 85 I made sure I used it. Sure doesn't hurt, maybe less mileage with it but whatever a couple of zinc pennies won't break the bank, they are worthless so no big deal.

Product is great, packaging not so much
I've bought this oil twice now. I was a bit reluctant the first about having a jug of motor oil shipped but it arrived fine. Product is great and a good value so I ordered it again. This time my luck wasn't so good. The jug of oil was put in a plastic garbage inside a box with some crumpled brown paper to take up some of the empty space but was not well cushioned or secured. The sliding and banging around during shipping caused a small leak in the jug. Fortunately the jug was inside the plastic bag so nothing leaked through the box. The leak was very small so not much product was lost and i immediately transferred it into the jug I had recently emptied. Probably will source this at my local auto parts store in future.

Good Oil, Good Price
I have used Amsoil gourmet oil and just about every other brand you can buy off the shelf. There are only nominal differences in these oils. Any modern synthetic oil will perform well and these oil companies buy their additive packages from the same handful of suppliers. They just use slightly different "recipes". Your car will probably rust out or crash out before the engine dies from old age. Right now this oil is about the best bang for your buck of the name brands. Just change your oil and filter at least every 5,000 miles and use your favorite motor oil that is in spec for your car and you will be fine. Motor Oils suffer heavily from marketing hype.
