Is this a mirror polish? Would I be able to accurately see my reflection in it, as I want to also use it as a mirror?

This heavy-duty Zippo lighter (known as Armor) is highly polished Chrome. You could use this as a reflector of sun to signal somebody, but honestly it is not a mirror. Highly recommend you consider purchasing a small rectangular travel mirror in a padded case. I bought this lighter for emergency use, keeping it boxed in my car's glove compartment and refilling it 1st of every month with Ronson lighter fluid. A small price to pay if I ever became stranded in a snowstorm, severe rainstorm, or other adverse weather conditions. If you contact Zippo Corp. in Bradford, Pa. they will be happy to inform you if they have a mirrored finish front Zippo lighter available, or at extra cost they will make one to your specs.
