Save your money
Really feel ripped off about this product for $60. There are 24 cardboard tubes(camoflaged...whoopty do) with a little cotton inside that supposedly have been soaked with a pesticide that is easy to buy on Amazon. Just save your toilet paper tubes(or any round object) and insert your own cotton(very cheap and widely available) soaked with Permethrin.

Miracle worker in Central Massachusetts !
A few summers ago, I got Lyme from a tick in our yard. A tick I never even saw on me. If you've never had Lyme, believe me, you do not ever want to contract it. Everyone should do everything in their power not to contract Lyme. The first summer after I had it, we hired a company to spray. The spray, when the company actually came, was effective. But the service was very expensive and the company was unreliable, to put it politely. The next year we decided to try Tick Tubes and supplement with spray we would do ourselves. The Tick Tubes were miracle workers! We didn't even have to supplement with spray. We didn't see one, single tick all year. We followed the directions closely, which is very easy to do, and distributed them according to the package suggestions. We will absolutely never be without these.

Got rid of ticks in my yard
I first used tick tubes last year We had a lot of ticks in our yard and would find one on me or my dogs almost every day. We have a big garden and lots of pets so I didn't want to spray. But we have a lot of Lyme in NY so I needed to do something. When I first put the tubes down the cotton wasn't being taken, so I moved them to our shed and behind the wood pile and then the cotton was gone. This year it's a REALLY BAD tick year, but so far we've only about one tick a week. A BIG CHANGE from last year. So clearly the tick tubes are working, especially since all my friends are complaining about ticks.

Kill the ticks, but not everything else
Using these tick tubes HUGHLEY reduced the tick population around the yard, and almost eliminated ticks coming into the house on my cats. It takes one full season to accomplish, but it worked wonders! Used to be I couldn't walk anywhere around the margins of my yard (in a rural, wooded area with lots of deer) without removing ticks from my clothes and me. After using tick tubes in the fall, ticks became rare events the next spring and summer. I made my own tick tubes, but they were as troublesome and expensive to build as buying these in bulk and on sale. Tick tubes kill the baby ticks without killing beneficial insects, and THEY WORK! This is my third season using them.

Didn't work for ticks at all
I spent just under $80 for this product, because I like to take my dogs in part of my 3-acre field so they can run freely, and every time we would go in the field, they would bring at least one tick back. I wanted to eliminate ticks from this specific area, so I followed the directions and placed the cardboard logs within 30 feet of each other and covered the entire area. When I received the product, the directions were making it sound like it is for Mice, not ticks. After reading some reviews, now I understand that this product is to eliminate the Mice that may carry ticks? We don't have mice in this area, so I was never wanting to eliminate mice to begin with, so to me, this is False Advertisement. Also, after leaving the product out for 48 hours, I took my dogs in the field and let them run, and they came back with a combined 11 ticks. I am highly disappointed with this product and hope no one else wastes their hard-earned money on something that doesn't work and is advertised as a tick-controller, when it is really for mice.
