The screen on my 15’ CTS was stuck on that weird message about keeping eyes on road. I watched a few videos on YouTube and figured I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did. It looks brand new without the price tag from the dealership or handy man. Tip: you’ll also need a 7mm ratchet wrench along with the tools in this kit.

Phenomenal replacement. My CUE screen was jittery and didn't recognize touches. This fixed the problem 100%. Doing it myself saved me around $1500. Cuescreens has all the videos in detail. They show and tell what pieces of trim to remove, in what order. More importantly HOW to remove them / what direction to pull pieces off so you can keep all your trim pieces and tabs intact. I definitely recommend Cuescreens.

Bought this product to repair by cue screen that had lost touch response in the center of the screen. The replacement screen from cuescreens is so much better than the OEM screen. I can confirm that as the company advertises, the touch response is far superior. Excellent image clarity too. I have full functionality on my screen again for a fraction of the price of replacing the whole module. This was the most ambitious project I’ve taken on so far in this vehicle and it is not without its challenges. That said, I went VERY SLOW and took my time to avoid breaking anything. All in the whole process took me 3 hours and 15 minutes from removal of the cue system to installation of the new screen and replacement of the module. I had a little time added due to the fact that I had replaced the OEM charging pad with a Qi enabled pad from 404 parts, and the harness for that pad was a little tricky to remove. I did end up breaking a couple of the clips for the trim around the gear shift when I pulled it out - don’t forget to take out the 7mm screws before pulling on the trim! (I think I may have just snapped those because they were a little brittle from baking in the sun) - that didn’t end up mattering at all - there were still plenty clips intact to firmly hold the trip without any issues. I didn’t buy the trim tools from cuescreens so I maybe could have avoided this had I done so - didn’t see any mention of where to use trim tools in that part of the installation video though. At the end of the day, I could not be happier with this product. Everything works as advertised, and although it wasn’t the easiest thing in the world to do, most people should be able to do it if you follow the instructions to the letter and have just a little bit of technical know how and common sense… you may have some slight variations depending on your model of vehicle …for example there were only 4 7mm bolts holding the side pieces onto the cue box in my ATS, whereas the instructions indicate there are 6. The best advice I can give is slow down and take your time if you are going to attempt this yourself. I guarantee I would’ve screwed it up if I had tried to rush it. I watched the install video all the way through two times before starting, and followed along with the video and pdf while doing the install. Seriously, listen to them when they tell you to do this. I bought a 2017 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum used, after about 1 month of owning it screen start to show weird drying or frozen looking cracks in the corners and then started to spread. Found this product was skeptical at first, read some reviews, made me believe a little more. So fo $160 CAD, I thought what the heck, I will buy it VS $2000 at the dealer. I am someone what mechanically incline and have some tools. Received it quickly, and then follow the step by step videos and did the install slowly and patiently took me 1 hour and 1/2 start to finish. VIDEOS are absolutely brilliant step by step very well detailed. Follow there videos and anyone can do this easily. Saving you mega money. Thanks guys!!! Screen looks and works beautifully.
