One of my cats likes to pull thread out of anywhere he can find it (and eat it leading to expensive vet bills!), including our couch and bed frame. I stuck this all along the underside of the furniture he like to claw at and he immediately realized he didn't like the feel of it and left the furniture alone. The tape is clear so you can't even really see it which is great. I've had to replace the tape once or twice over the last few months as it gets covered in cat hair and dust and loses it's stickiness but it's easy to install and comes with so much I imagine this will last forever. Safer for my furniture and safer for my troublesome kitty, I'm happy!

This tape was helping our cat from scratching the door. Our cat occasionally stops our cat scratching the door. This is so easy to install. This is worth the price. This fits perfectly. This is so easy to removes. The safety is amazing. The clarity is so amazing. This doesn't damage no doors at all. This tape is so very sticky.

My cat lives for chaos, and his favourite hobby is attacking my door while I sleep, so I got this to put around the parts of the door he messed with the most. It worked initially, but he started to figure out where the tape was and just attack new parts of the door. He also figured out the tape got less sticky over time and when it was not longer uncomfortable for him to touch, he went right back to his old antics. Eventually, he just realized he could slice the tape up. I saw several reviewers mention it did not come off well. The first time I changed the tape, I removed it carefully and the paint on my door was fine. After the second application however, I saw the paint come off with the tape and just stopped using it altogether at that point. So while it sticks to things, it's not the best to deter a cat, and it does not come off very well even when removed gently. Trying to cut the right amount of tape and stick it on straight alone makes this not worth it for me because that's a bit of a hassle too. Put in too much effort for not enough results.

We originally attempted to just use regular double-sided tape to train our cat not to get on our counters; however, this didn't fully work and, on top of that, left a sticky residue on our surfaces. We bought this item and used all 30 yards of it already in order to cover everything needed. It holds well even after many accidents of us setting stuff on the tape when we shouldn't have, so far we've removed a lot of the pieces already, and it has left no residue. On top of that, it stuck well to surfaces that previous double-sided tapes wouldn't. Our cat definitely found it uncomfortable but was not hurt by getting stuck too much, so it's definitely safe for pets. It was super easy to place without getting the tape stuck on yourself due to the laminated cover on one side, overall great purchase!
