Quick and easy cosmetic mod
With almost no visual mods(or mods in general) available for the Ruger EC9s, this cool and inexpensive little slide cover fills that void even if only just a tiny bit. With a very quick install of only 5 minutes(4 of them was looking for a small enough tool), the end result is a nice addition to your gun that will make it stand out from others. Though while I like the Punisher skull, I would have liked more options to pick from. For example a Nuke logo or Peace sign, etc.. It would just further allow more personalization choices. I'm still happy with what I got though.The quality of the piece is quite good. It's nice and smooth, fits the gun just like factory, and the Punisher skull is perfectly machined and is raised enough to make it stand out but not enough to snag anything or annoy me. Also, I don't know about other guns, but the factory slide cover on my EC9s is plastic so the aluminum replacement makes me feel like I'm adding a little rigidity to it which is a huge plus.I like this little thing! It's not much and I wish there were other logos to pick from, but I do feel like I gave my gun a little more personality. Now I call it "Lil' Pun"!

Piece of mind
A piece prone to failure on the Taurus G2C since it is plastic with a metal strap molded into it. The MakerShot 3D Aluminum Slide Cover Plate is an upgrade from factory piece. A plus is the cool designs that can be chosen. I personally chose the Molon Labe design to match the furniture on some of my other weapons systems. MakerShot includes instructions to install the cover plate and I was honestly able to unload, clear, remove plate, install plate, reload, charge and holster my weapon in 2 minutes. So the installation is quick and simple with correct tools. The fit and finish is excellent and I recommend this product. It is only time to tell if the piece holds up to repeated use.

Original was polymer and some metal, this is solid aluminum and I feel much better about it.
