The Everything Kids Riddles & Brain Teasers Book: Hours of Challenging Fun (Everything® Kids Series)

The grandson I purchased this for, really enjoys it. He loves brainteasers and is always trying to stump someone, if course the riddles are fun also

Two kids who now own this book say they like it a lot, and are having great fun reading it and doing it..

I'm very happy with this. I send jokes to my grandchildren and want clean jokes for them. Not only are they child (and adult) appropriate, they are funny. Who could ask for more?

"Why is the ruler one of the stubborn of your school supplies? Because it's very narrow minded" (cue the groans of frustration)"When Maddy started school, she was 5 years old. Now that she is in third grade, she is only 6. How can that be? Answer: Maddy's birthday is on Feb 29, it comes only once every 4 years, in a leap year." (Which is totally inaccurate. Just because the physical date of my birthday comes only once every 4 years, doesn't mean I somehow skip time and I don't actually age...)"What did one test say to the other? My life is an open book" (really?)"What is something only two brains can have? A brain baby." (What in the heck is a brain baby?!)"Why did all the letters have to stay after school? They were caught making alpha bets." (Not funny)"What would the Count say if she did? 'Fang you' very much." (doesn't even make sense...)Since I could only find 1 or 2 reasonable options per section, this book is essentially useless. And it certainly won't make my kids smarter, just potentially teach them silly sayings. I regret buying it.

This if for my Grandson's birthday. The book looks like it would be a fun one

Good variety of problems, but again much more a word problem book. Pretty light on the puzzles. Could have wished fo rmore

This is a really cool book. Our 8 year old grandson loves riddles, & he's having a ball stumping everyone with this very kid-friendly book.

A very good second hand book that only had five puzzles done of which three could be rubbed out. Book has hundreds of quiz questions and brain teasers to amuse younger children for hours, especially when you have an inquisitive child always asking, "Give me another riddle, question or puzzle." Saves the parent having to think them up. And better still-it has the answers. One or two of these puzzles a day and this book could last the entire length of 2016!
