治療という面では、あまり具体的に記述がされていません。しかし、それはあまり治療法がわかっていないような眼科疾患が多いからでしょう。それぞれの疾患に関しては、文献を挙げて、丁寧に説明がされています。いわゆる機序の説明がされているものが多いので、「それで、こうなるんだ！」という納得感が得られます。このポイントが大きいです。イギリス英語で書かれているので、アメリカ英語に慣れている自分にとっては、難解な部分もありました。

The book is great! My son who is a vet, really likes it. However, it took 22 days to be delivered. This is way too long when it was in stock at the time of order.

I believe that this book can be helpful for vet students or for vet clinicians who do not specialize in ophthalmology. But, I suspect, it is mostly useless for advanced vet ophthalmologists. In any case, this is a good attempt to unite odd data in one book.

There are many differences of the structure of the eye in some animals. It is very helpful for vet clinicians.
