PentelQuicker Clicker Mechanical Pencil, 0.7 Mm, Hb (#2.5), Black Lead, Transparent Violet Barrel

Always been a great product and still is. There doesn't appear to be any changes to these pencils in 40 years, and there don't need to be! Arrived quickly, as described, with minimal packaging for less waste.

I've used these pencils for 50+ years - they are the best.

In 2004 I came across the older model of this pencil. I used it all throughout high school and absolutely loved this pencil. I like to write fiction for fun and used to tell my friends that my muse lived in this pencil. My pencil kept going missing, I mean it's high school we lost things all the time, and then I found out one of my friends was stealing them because he actually believed this pencil was magical and made me the amazing writer I was. I kept buying these pencils because it was the most durable, long lasting one and because eraser pencil toppers actually fit in this when the eraser is all gone.

Replaces the pencil I lost so I knew I would be happy with it.

My search was for 0.5 and this came up, I did not read carefully enough to realize that this is 0.7mm. As another reviewer noted, the clicker is not purple, as it appears in the photo, it is actually blue. I too wish it was purple. Those details aside, I love the Pentel Quicker-Clicker pencils, have had one since the mid-80's. I like these newer ones with the wider rubber grip, they are easier for my not-as-young-as-they-used-to-be hands to hold. I love the full-size eraser and that they can hold a large supply of lead so no worries about running out. I'd give this brand/type of pencil 5 stars, but read the description carefully to be sure that the specifications on this particular pencil are what you need/want.
