Nice ... in fact very nice!
Hard to get enthusiastic about something as mundane as a little action camera clamp isn't it ... unless of course you've waved goodbye to your camera and footage as your chosen method of securing it suddenly gives up the ghost or worse, returned to where you left it recording and then found that it has nosedived kamikaze style onto the concrete. This clamp feels like a quality product straight out of the box. It will clamp to a scaffold pole and all the way down to a simple garden cane and tightens up easily but firmly. The flexible arm has just the right amount of stiffness to give you confidence that with your action camera won't droop and will stay exactly where you put it for the duration of your shoot. All in all a good purchase, highly recommended ... I'll certainly be buying a second one, and maybe a set of the GorillaPod arms to utilise the second threaded 1/4 inch socket that I hadn't realised was on the bottom of the clamp!. Nice one Joby! :)

I have recommended it to a number of by soon to be ...
Finding a suitable place to position our baby monitor in our nursery was a challenge. We were unable to find a suitable location by following the monitors installation instructions. Although the monitor a capable to be fitted to a wall, after spending a lot of time decorating the nursery for our little one I didn't really want to be drilling into the wall and having a misplaced camera centered. Then I came across this product, this was just what I was after. It fits straight onto the cot just by tightening the pressure hold. The gorilla arm is bendable yet stiff enough to stay how its positioned and hold the weight of the baby monitor. Though a little expensive for what it is, I have recommended it to a number of by soon to be parent friends.

Rigid; quick; dependable.
I used the job Action Clamp to take a timelapse at the Shard yesterday; and given how many people came to ask me about it have sold a number just on watching it get used. The photo is the camera (with the rigid arm mounted @ the shard.) The clamp turns rails into a nice solid tripod for action; and compact cameras. The box has the clamp; the gorilla pod arm, and two gopro adaptors.I was using it with a Nikon 9900 compact camera and it give me a rigid platform. The options allow for this model or one with a rigid arm; i have the rigid arm - i bought it with the suction mount. In this case the gorilla arm is stiff and allowed me to move the camera close to the window to avoid more of the reflections. The clamp opens to about 2" and is quick to adjust and tighten down. Once clamped its super rigid; a wet rail didnt cause an issue and neither has hanging the camera upside down. The Job Clamp is too small for my slr; but its considerably smaller and lighter (being plastic) than the manfrotto clamp i have for that. Its won a place in my bag 5*

Great clamp let down by locking arm
The clamp itself works great, and has been useful for fixing some devices to shelves, however the product is let down by the awful quality of the locking arm. All four balls in the sockets of the arm have broken after setting it up just once, causing the material to break apart and become unusable if it were to be repositioned. They weren't moved whilst tightened, they were left loose, moved into position, and then tightened, however all the joints crumbled as shown. This occurred on both joints, on two seperate purchases, so maybe I've been unlucky, but it seems that it is exceptionally poor quality.

Good idea, weak point in built quality lead to failure.
Bought it in May 2017. Used it twice and it broke. It is a good idea and the concept is right. The build quality is poor though. The clamping pad which you screw to tighten has a waiver thin clip inside it to hold it in place. So, as you screw the clamp to tighten, it clip breaks. We were not using it for anything heavy duty either. It was to clamp our go pro in the horse trailer to live feed the horse to the car. So, it should have been just a simple clamp and tighten on static bar and undo when finished.
