This fits perfectly in my Ram hitch, the placement of the pin hole allows it to sit flush. I like that its anodized rather than painted, the red color looks great. The pin was a bit tight but with a little grease it wasn't an issue, and means less chance of rattling.

I think this is a great product. Its solid aluminum, rated at 10,000 pounds, nice anodized red color, and its made in the good old USA. What's not to like?

Very well made and finished. All edges are nice and smooth so it doesn't snag anywhere. Haven't had to use it yet, but feel very confident in its build quality.

Well made chunk of billet aluminum. Made in USA fits well I haven’t noticed any rattling from being made too small for receiver

Billet aluminum! Should hold up great! No issues so far- not sure how a block of aluminum would fail (keeping within the WLL rating...)

Definitely lighter than my steel shackle mount by more than half-30 oz vs 70 oz/0.89kg vs 2 kg! Chamfered pin opening great idea. Good to decrease stress on soft shackles, and helps align steel shackle pins. Like the red anodized color for locating in grass/mud.

The receiver is high quality and good buy. But the pin didn't arrive with it.

I received the pin 5/8 sold by Gear America for this item. But, don't want really go inside the hole (2 positions) despite I used of silicone oil. But, by chance I had another pin and it's fit perfectly without difficulty and without oil. I hope this information will help other people before to return product. Also, this larger pin fit with my other equipment. Holes for this hitch receiver are to tight for this pin.
