Loving this game.
Not tried anything other than solo play but this is a great game. Make sure you watch some playthroughs on YouTube though because if you rely solely on the rulebook you might struggle.

Interesting game that is fiddly to run solo
I bought this specifically for solo play and the system is very clever, the theme engaging and the different races very unique but the solo is a little fiddly to run. It's not as complex as some out there but feels like it's more complicated to run than it should be in some ways. It's a keeper for now but probably won't see as many plays as it would have done if the AI was less fiddly!

Probably my favorite game of 2021 (Classics and Legends). Be aware that this is not for beginners, families, or people new to these types of strategy games. The rules are simple, but the strategy is deep. There is a ton of replayability in this game and it should satisfy for years.
