A Romantic, Exciting Book...Young Love... Mitch & Paige... Trapped...Hmm
I Loved the prequel to this series and so be I am glad I read it so I could get to the plot of this 📚📖. This book picks up seven months later from the prequel. This book is about lies and secrets and the problems that come with that. It's a good read about young love and the consequences of having sex. This book definitely has a twist at the end. This was a good read about Mitch and Paige. Read this book you will enjoy it.

Maybe He Trapped Himself
I enjoyed this book, finished it in one day, but glad I read the prequel first. 'Trapped' picks up about seven months where the Prequel ended. I went into this with a bias toward Mitch... and yes, Josh too, and that bias was not a good one. Mitch finally sees the error of his ways and comes back home to Georgia to try to pick up the pieces with the daughter he's never seen. It certainly is not a cake walk for him but, IMO, he never saw the raw hurt, pain and damage he caused.Paige has matured A LOT in 'Trapped'. I guess she had too. Being a single mother isn't easy. She has to earn a living, continue with her own education and be a good mother too.Josh, MItch's best friend, realizes the role he played in tearing Mitch and Paige apart and tries to make amends. But once something is broken, trying to glue it back together is difficult... there always will be at least a hairline crack showing. And, Paige was even unaware of Josh's involvement in this whole sordid affair, until he gets around to apologizing.I never understood why so much of Erin and Josh's trysts were apart of this book. I would preferred to see more of Mitch and his finding things out about what all he missed during his abandonment of Paige and baby daughter, Bree. The Mitch I read about in the prequel, The Trap', had it way to easy in this storyline. I did appreciate how Paige wanted Bree to know and have a relationship with Mitch. Love it when she told Mitch she never wanted Bree to know what he did because she never wanted Bree to know she had been unloved. That right there should have brought Mitch down to his knees, knocked the breath of of him or something. No, Paige didn't take his simple 'I'm sorries' and hop back in bed with him saying all is well. But the horrible angst she portrayed in 'The Trap' sure wasn't reciprocated with Mitch in 'Trapped'. Yes, he kept pleading for her forgiveness but I just didn't see the emotional mental strife in Mitch in 'Trapped' as we did with Paige in 'The Trap'. Paige did point out how she made her choices based upon his desires. She realized that was a mistake.... too late though.Overall, I wanted to see more development of Mitch's character and less intimate, detailed bedroom scenes. I do see where they were needed in a few scenes in the book but not as many as were described... kiss by kiss, lick by lick, you get the picture.

Trapped
The Trap is the Novella prequel for Trapped, but it isn't necessary to read prior to this one. However, it does give a back story as to what Mitch and Paige went thru to get where they are and I do highly recommend reading it prior to beginning Trapped.I did like this book and after reading the prequel, I tried really hard to love it. But I couldn't love it as much as the prequel. The prequel had something going on at every turn of the page that I expected the same to happen with this book.Trapped failed to maintain the drama level that the prequel did. Don't get me wrong, it had it's drama. But not the same level as what I was expecting. I was expecting a bigger fight between Mitch and Paige. Especially since Paige had become this stonger, more independent woman. I was expecting more resistance, more stubborness from her. There was a bit but not very much. I understand she did what she thought was best for Bree, they both did. But every situation like this, fiction or not, has a lot more drama than what this book did. Especially the way things ended in The Trap.I did like this story though. Things between Mitch and Paige happened a lot sooner than I thought they would. I wanted to see Mitch struggle a bit more with that, just because he deserved it. I also didn't understand Trent's role in this book. The best male friend that wasn't around much. But the tension between him and Mitch was there in the few times they ran into each other. Why not play off of that and run with it? I thought we would see more from him and maybe more confrontation between him, Mitch and possibly Paige. I didn't expect the ending, that threw me for a bit. It was kind of out of left field. But then again, there wasn't too much of Mitch's home life included in the prequel.Again, I did like this book. I just struggled to love it. This storyline had so much potential with the direction it was heading. But, it failed to pick up the little drama queens on the side road just itching to make it make so much better. This will definitely not deter me from reading anymore of Beverley Kendall's books. She's a great writer and I look forward to more from her.

Go...go...go get it now!.
What an amazing book! After reading the prequel 'The Trap' I was doubtful that I would be able to forgive the actions of Mitch and I felt this way during the first part of ths book...I did not know how I would be able to move on from what had happened but Beverly Kendall has managed something that is truly amazing with such a difficult storyline...I love Mitch...yes I know seems hard to believe but I do!This book dealt with difficult everyday issues...young pregnancy...single parents...abandonment ...betrayal and the writing was sympathetic...realistic and totally brilliant.I loved how strong Paige was...her devotion to her baby and she was absolutely no pushover where Mitch was concerned...redemption had to be earned but did he manage it?When a tough situation rears it's head does it pull Mitch & Paige together or tear them apart...read and find out...all I'll say is it truly shows you how much this couple has grown together.Loved it...thankyou for an amazing story and cannot wait for Josh's book!

5 Top Stars
I really enjoyed this book which I stumbled across on a Twitter recommendation. I read the short prequel'The Trap' first which does enhance the characters backgrounds. I didn't think that I would be able to like Mitch after his behaviour re Paige's pregnancy but I did in the end. Good supporting characters that I now want to read more about. Hope Trent gets a story, and Erin. Quite an emotional read that tugs your heartstrings and makes you wonder how you would react in a similar situation. Thought the twist toward the end was a good move.

I thought this was going to be the usual run of the mill story. Was I wrong really loved the story and the wrtitng style. So well written you felt you knew the characters. Definately recommend reading The Trap first it gives a really good basis to this book. I will definately buy the others in the series. Buy it you will not be disappointed

Brilliant
Written from both Mitch and Paige's POV. This is one emotional read. In the first book I hated Mitch and revenge would have been sweet. However reading the second book I was wanting Paige to give him another chance. He certainly redeemed himself and Paige got her happy ending. Excellent read ...

Great read
Really enjoyed this book, it was funny, sexy, steamy, emotional. And the situation very close to my heart as I went through a unplanned pregnancy and birth and first year of raising my son alone at 20. So very emotional at times. Thank you to the author for sharing this book with us x
