Writing this review after approximately 3 months of use. I have the 6-port and 8-port versions of this hub, and they're both terrific. I originally bought one for mobile use, mostly for wired ethernet connectivity, plus the USB-A ports. I'm now using it as a temporary small docking station in my office for USB, Ethernet, and HDMI connections. For office use, it works a lot better than I would expect something at this price point. USB-C PD works well, USB, HDMI, card readers, and ethernet all work very well. I'm using the 6-port on the Dell in a mobile setup in my company vehicle, and it works flawlessly for that PC. It's mostly functioning as a USB-A hub for light duty on the Dell, but I've had absolutely zero problems. Ethernet performance with the M1 Pro Macbook is perfect so far. iPerf tests show consistent speeds of over 930mbit/sec. I haven't experienced any problems with any of the ports. Heat doesnt' seem to be a major concern, it does warm up a bit but I wouldn't say it's excessive at all. I can't speak to data transfer speeds over the USB-A connections. I do have an external HDD attached to one of the USB ports, but I haven't really stress tested it. Build quality feels nice. Aluminum exterior, beefy data cable with a well-made USB-C connector, all connectors feel solid. If you need USB-A, HDMI, wired ethernet and an SD card reader, this dock offers tremendous value for the $. I'm very pleased, and I definitely recommend.

Edit to my original review: Baseus replaced my broken one at no charge to me and it is now my backup since I had bought a different brand to replace it. It has been about a month and works well although I only use it once a week. Hoping this one doesn’t conk out. Original review: This worked well with my new MacBook Pro M1 for about a month. I hooked up my external monitor, external wireless mouse/keyboard, and network cable as I work from home. There is a light on the top of it that shows that it's connected, which I appreciated because sometimes I'm a little hasty when reconnecting and don't push the connection all the way in. Well, one day it just stopped working. I thought it was my wireless keyboard/mouse, but then I tried connecting my wired ones, and those didn't work either. The light was completely out and my battery icon showed it was no longer charging. I bought this less than a month ago, and I'm super disappointed, especially since I took some time to read the reviews on several brands and models.

I have been using this hub for over a year now. It works on both my PC and smartphone. It has every port that I need for connectivity and media. The stability of having the Gigabit Ethernet Port is important to me because it's fast, reliable, and more secure than WiFi. Last month I was having some issues with the Micro-SD port, so I reached out to Baseus and received a reply from Leona in customer support I was pleased to find out that the hub has an 18 month warranty. Leona sent out a replacement hub and I received it a few days later. Most warranties these days are one year at best. 18-months is outstanding for small electronics. It's a great hub with a better warranty than most, and a customer service department that stands behind their product. Highly recommended.

I have had this for 4 years and it has worked every day without any issues at all. Highly reccomend!

Magnífico producto, facilita mucho el trabajo al garantizar conectividad de todo tipo. Con el cargador de 40w puedo cargar la laptop al tiempo que trabajo en ella. Muy recomendable.
