PRINCIPLES OF CONTINUUM MECHANICS (SOUTH ASIA EDITION)
S**.
Easy read as a refresher
This is a simplified version of the author's other much detailed book on continuum mechanics. The content is mostly undergraduate level, covering the basic mathematical foundation of continuum mechanics including the governing equations of solid mechanics (and elasticity), heat transfer and fluid mechanics. As a practicing engineer, I bought it mostly for completion of my library. Nevertheless, it also acted a short refresher which I browsed through in 3-4 days. Going through the exercises is also a workout for my aging grey cells.Deducting one star for 2-3 typos that I found in the book.

Great textbook
This is a great text for senior to graduate level continuum mechanics. Very complete in terms of theory, although the practice problems often leave something to be desired.
