Important item when back feeding
The Square D main breaker retaining kit is important when installing a Homeline sub panel that is back fed by a breaker. It securely fastens the breaker(s) and prevents them from being removed with out taking this retainer off. The kit is to be used in the slot 1&2 of the panel.

Quality official part. WAY OVER PRICED by manufacturer
Does it’s job. For what it is it should be $15.

Fits Homeline double breakers
This is a required safety feature for back-fed breakers and it was impossible to find locally. I needed the included longer machine screw to attach to the panel. It is the right length and size but I did notice that the opposite breaker, in my case a double breaker for a dryer (on spaces 1 and 3), is also slightly hindered by this retaining clip. I don't know if I will be able to remove that other breaker if needed without first removing the clip. If I'd know this I might've left 1/3 empty and moved everything other spaces.

Fit perfectly
Was exactly what was needed to turn a 125A panel into a back fed 60A garage sub panel

impossible to get locally, the required kit for Homelite sub panels
Perfect in every way except that it requires the use of 2/4 slots. If you are like me and pre-wired with the main breaker in 1/3 slot, it will require you to rewire the entire box. IN my case, my feeder lines were not long enough to reach that side of the box. I just flipped the entire box, worked great.
