UCOLeschi Lantern, 110 Lumen Camping Lantern and Battery-Powered LED Flashlight with Dimmer and Strobe

I had one of these for years, it finally broke, and I was so happy to see I could order another.Almost every flashlight on amazon adds some extreme feature that crowds out its regular features and makes the whole package useless garbage:* dozens of features! you wanted soft red but got turbo-strobing white...* 100K lumens! you just wanted to read :/* smaller than a quarter! you immediately lose it >:(* waterproof window-smashing tip! it weighs a half pound?* RGB transitions! Its "ambiance" is constantly changing primary colors and feels like you're in a police chase?!This thing is stupid simple at a size you can hold, strong but light plastic body, exactly one AA battery, and an LED you can both read with and walk with. It's the perfect small flashlight, but that's not really enough to stand out. But adding a single feature that enhances rather than crowding out the rest, and it's the most useful, versatile light out there.It's now the perfectly simple *adjustable* flashlight that can be a perfect lamp, and it's a portable lamp with all those qualities *that can be a great flashlight*.It sounds so simple, but if you're ever frustrated with your overbuilt flashlight or have to pack a few different things (each with their own batteries), remember this review and feel deep shame that you didn't do better.Everyone should have one, but if your friends don't know this, in lamp mode it's good enough to light the way for all of you.

I use this to walk my dog at night and in the early morning- because she thinks she should walk at 5:00am, when it's still dark. This tiny little lantern is super bright and has a good range and large covered area when it's turned on. I recommend it for anyone who needs to be outside when it's dark.

This takes up no room to speak of, weight is not noticeable yet it can be used as a flashlight or a lantern which is very useful in my opinion

This flashlight is awesome. The design is great -versatile: works as a flash light and lamp, small, sturdy, strap is useful. My only complaint, as with many outdoors flash lights and head lamps, you have to cycle through a strobe mode. That is painful to eyes in the dark especially in the wilderness. Companies should design camping lights not to have a strobe mode or require a special button press to access strobe so that one does not always have to cycle through it.

I like this tiny lantern to use when im backpacking. bright enough and very cool appearance.

Purchased 30 lamps for our group, one of them did not work, and the top screw portion of another fell apart before it's first use.

This little flashlight is outstanding! It’s small enough to carry in you pocket, and you hardly know it’s there, but when you need it it’s there for you. High and low settings along with the strobe function make this a great flashlight, but you can also use it as a little lantern. The attached shock cord is handy, but out of the way when not in use making this a versatile all around light. It’s great for camping, road side assistance, and I even used it walking out of a concert when all the lights went out. Several people followed us up the stairs and out into the parking lot. It takes 1 AA battery that last, and lasts. I liked this light so much I bought myself 2 more, and one for all the members in my family. Great price for a powerful, and versatile tool.

I love EVERYTHING about this flashlight (color scheme, lantern feature, tiny shock cord loop, price)...EXCEPT the fact that you have to cycle through the strobe :( If you turn the flashlight off on the bright setting then next time you turn it on you get the blinding strobe option (so pretty much every time you turn it on!!!) I would gladly have paid another 50 cents for the chip to have a miniscule amount of memory to save the mode setting. Sigh. So close!

Looks small but really is a bright LED light.Packaged in a durable casing and three settings.low,bright and strobe.Has a small string for you to hang on a branch or inside the tent.As a lamp it would really brighten a small area of say 2 meter square.Definitely will not replace your large lamps.I carry it inside my messenger bag or inside my car.Takes one double A battery.
