It came without instructions. I had to come back here to see how it mounts. Once I figured out how to mount it I have to say I'm very happy with this. It holds my speaker very well even over rough terrain. I'm assuming that the included carabiner clip is for an extra safety to clip through my speakers hand strap. Only 4 stars because of the lack of mounting instructions.

Better than described.
I'll post some pictures. I use this to secure my JBL Charge speaker to my handlebars but I had to extend each strap for my own sake. It does what it's intended for but gravity + vibration causes slight slippage and that may be caused because of how I have it mounted. After months of sunlight, fading in the soft velcro evident, does not effect performance.BTW- 2 for 1: I almost forgot but it also holds my saddle bag as well as my speaker.
