Very Nice Seat
Impressed with the quality and overall mounting assembly. The mounting bolts are stainless, thread into the fixed toilet seat mounting tabs , and are held down with plastic nuts. The design allows for the seat to be securely tightened down and ease of cleaning. The only odd aspect is that the nuts are two piece, so once the nut has been tightened, the top portion breaks off. Just be careful that the ratchet doesn't hit the toilet once this happens. Other than that, the padded portion is nice with some firmness and the seat stays firmly in the up position, which other seats fail to do so. Have never had a padded seat split, but they have yellowed after a couple of years, so will see how this seat fairs. Considering the quality and the secure mounting, it's worth the extra money.

Doesn't loosen
This seat does not loosen and float around. It's comfortable, too. Seems to be made with quality compared to other padded seats. UPDATE: While the seat stays tight, the seams in seat are weak and it has ripped open on one side. Considering how much this seat costs, it's a big disappointment.

If you have to have padded...this is probably the best one for the price
Guys...padded toilet seats crack. It's just the name of the game. What this one has over others is that it doesn't shift when you sit down. Ever. It's very well made. I have waited until it cracked to make this review.... I bought this in October of 2024. It's now December. I noticed signs of possible cracking a couple of months ago but failed to remember the warranty was 1 year instead of the 3 that was somehow lodged in my memory. Unfortunately now I am outside of that period and both the left and right side of the toilet are cracked on the seat. It's not a huge deal and actually way better results with this seat than the one I originally bought for half the cost at Walmart. It would never stay in place and cracked in less than 2 months. Overall I have been very happy with this toilet seat. Installation was super easy and it has been very stable over the past year, not moving even a tiny bit. And it took about a year to notice that typical wear and tear from these types of seats. It doesn't matter. i'm going to buy another one because my bum isn't cold in the night when I sit on it which I have always preferred. Plus the cracks gross me out - who knows what creepy crawlies are hiding in there (ie bacteria) Keep in mind when buying this - these were my results. I live alone so I am virtually the only person using this consistently. Occasionally I have people here who might use it but it's fairly rare as I also have a toilet upstairs. I am a small woman also, not putting a ton of weight on this (150#) AND I'm only home i the evenings. Point is: it's been lightly used for 1 year. No heavy use by a whole family or heavy spouse etc.

worth the price. A good product
This is very very sturdy. I previously puchased a cheaper option that promply broke due to plastic fittings. Like the picture, this toilet seat has a metal base and construct with an overlying padded seat. I recommend it. It does have to be cleaned often due to the seams for hygeine.

They do not send necessary hardware
Purchased one other time, did not last long , cracks along edges, discoloration...but originally attractive , so I bought another because this one now looks awful. Instead of arriving with necessary tools to put it together like last time, i'm searching for them, and then I notice on this little , tiny piece of paper , it says "tools you need"! They didn't even bother to put the appropriate little tools in there and I don't have the original ones! How sloppy and lazy can you be with a toilet seat you sell for almost forty dollars?? I'm having company for the holidays and bought this toilet seat in anticipation of my company arriving and now I have to return it. I will never shop with this company again

A very good padded toilet seat
I never thought I’d be writing a review about a toilet seat, but here I am! I have been through a lot of them, they seem to be made cheap (although the cost of them isn’t!) and they rip or tear almost immediately upon installation. Also, I found almost all of them don’t “sit” right on the toilet so when you sit down the seat shifts, which is not a pleasant surprise and causes the, to constantly need to be tightened. I read the reviews on this on and thought “well it’s pricey and I doubt it will be much better, but I’ll give it a try”. I was completely surprised in a good way. Once installed properly it doesn’t slip and slide from side to side and the cushioning is comfortable and hasn’t torn or ripped. I’m heavy and sometimes have to almost “drop down” onto the seat due to muscle issues and this has been a really good buy. It’s sturdy and helpful. I highly recommend it and also am so glad it comes both padded and in an elongated oval. I kept finding seats that were for round toilets and I haven’t had one of those in years. Highly recommend this wonderfully made product.

Metal hinge accessories, easy to install
Ease of installation, metal parts durable. Padding cover might not be strong.

The Unusual Hinges Do Not Use Standard Attachment Bolts
This is the first toilet seat we’ve ever had that uses unusual hinges. We expected an easy switcheroo of toilet seats: unscrew the existing wingnuts, pull the bolts out of the hinges, switch seats, drop the existing bolts down through the new seat’s hinges, and re-screw the wingnuts. We done it many times in the past. Until we encountered this seat. Where are the holes in the hinges? What are these strange skinny bolts? What’s up with this plastic thing that the destructions say is supposed to break to know that it’s tight enough? This was clearly not going to install like every other seat we’ve ever used. Those skinny bolts are supposed to screw into the bottom of the hinge, thereby creating something to drop down through the porcelain. The bolts are then held on by the cheap plastic nuts that are apparently idiot-proof. Who ever heard of something breaking to tell you that it’s tight enough? People can’t tell by the tension in their wrench that it’s tight? Whatever. None of this was going to work for our installation because we have a setup that requires longer bolts. So we were just going to take the hinges off the old seat and replace them on the new seat so that we had proper drop-the-bolt-through-the-hole hinges. Unfortunately for us, they broke in the switching process, so we had to order new replacement hinges. In the meantime, we had to install the new seat as directed, so the toilet would be usable. All the hardware looked so cheap that even if we wanted to permanently use the parts the seat came with, we doubted it would last very long. Other than our installation issues, the seat itself is functional but feels cheap. We only got it to fulfill a need, but we don’t feel that it will be a long-term seat and that we will have to replace it periodically. That’s why we gave it a neutral rating.
