Time for Love
Sometimes an attraction when young can become a true love. That is if one party did not fight it and that is what Oliver, Earl of Roxwaithe had done. Having watched his neighbor, Lydia be born and grow up had just been part of his life. She had attached herself to him at a young age and they had been friends, although there was a 14 year difference. But when she was 18 and declared she loved him, he pushed her away. Oliver had not had the best of lives growing up. With an absent father and a brother dying, he and his sibling had grown up at Lydia's house and he relied upon her father for so much, especially when he came into the Earldom. Now, Lydia was back from the continent and taking the Ton by storm. How could he endure it? Yes he really did care about her but felt it was not appropriate.Fortunately, fate has other ideas and this was a wonderful story seeing these two struggle to come together and have their happy ever after. Adored this story!

This was a 5 Star until epilogue
The story was good. The characters were likeable. There were a few inconsistencies but for the most part, it was enjoyable. Then the dumbest epilogue I've ever seen that had nothing to do with the story, was 18 years later, and wasn't anything but a summation of a dumb story. Totally ruined a good read.

Two Sisters💃💃, Three Brothers🐺🐺🐺
ADULT Regency Romance💕 and AdventureLittle Lydia👩, one of two daughters of a Viscount, always knows she loves and will marry Oliver🐺, the oldest son of an Earl and their closest neighbor at the next estate. There is never any doubt in her mind, even though Oliver🐺 is 14 years older. The intervening years as Lydia💃💋 grows up and Oliver🐺🍆⛲ takes on the heavy reins of the Earldom are a trial by 🔥fire.ARC Provided by Hidden 💎Gems.I also got this ebook KU.This is a well written, wonderful, ADULT story, told over many years, and the many trials of the three sons of the late Earl. There is, of course, some angst between Oliver🐺🍆⛲ and Lydia💃💋, but it's not overwhelming as some romances💕 can be. The book is a novella, and included is a teaser for the next book about one of the other two sons.

A story of life time love.
This was a story of young love on the part of Lydia, and a love of a young girl as almost a part of his family on the part of Oliver. This was until as that young girl grew into a young woman and love develops for Oliver. Lydia knew the love has always been there but she had to convince Oliver of their love. I really love the characters and the two families involved in this series. It is a fairly quick read but you will enjoy it.

Stubborn hero
I enjoyed the relationship between the H and h. It was obvious how much they cared fir each other. But the hero almost ruined the story by his obstinate resistance to his feelings. The story is well written, but there were a few plot elements that were not explained leaving the reader confused. Lydia’s best friend, Violet, has a strong negative reaction to the duke yet Lydia never seeks answers to her behavior. Stephen and Oliver’s conversation about funds near the end was strange as was Stephen’s heated exchange with Lydia’s nemesis. And the epilogue was truly bizarre. It was about the H and h’s daughter 18 years later. It was all the little disjointed elements that kept this from a 5-star rating. Heat level is 3 to 4.

3.25 STARS - THEME BECAME REPETITIVE
I enjoyed the beginning when the H - age 14, holds the h as a newborn, he felt a connection the baby. The family have been friends for years and you can get to each other's homes through the attic. Comes in handy near the end.The story line became repetitive and my feelings for the H dwindled as the story progressed. You will hear over and over, I'm too old, you're too young. The only suspense, was the H going to let someone 5 years younger than he marry the h? Then, when the H finally comes to his senses, the h plays hard to get. There is an epilogue that adds nothing to the story because it isn't about our H/h at all, but totally different people that had nothing to do with this story.Lovemaking outside of marriage, heat level 5 out of 5 and described once.I read the first of the series and the middle brother is missing. The h's sister goes looking for him and finds him after 11 years. In this story, he is still missing and the h's sister leaves to discover him (but she found him in book 1)!!! I remember reading story 1 and commenting I wanted to know how the older brother reacted when his brother was finally found. Well, we find out in this one. Part of story 1 is dumped into this story. Made this one more confusing if you read book 1 first. No cheating, an epilogue that adds nothing to the story, this story ends abruptly - yes we get HEA. The epilogue would have been nice about the couple in this story, and we have steam.I received this book from bookfunnel. All opinions are my own and voluntarily given. (ljb)

A Love That Never Let Go
Oliver was fourteen years old when he held newborn Lydia Torrence in his arms. Their families were neighbors and close friends. She grew up close to him, always telling him that she would marry him. At eighteen, she kissed him and he rejected her. She was devastated but never gave up on him. Her love was steadfast but he didn’t believe it was ever more than a mere crush. A charming love story, start to finish. The epilogue, however was disappointing to me.

The day he knew,he LOVED! Her.
A very enjoyable and interesting ideas and read,of waiting for a person to understand that they fell in love when the young lady was a baby and not to keep saying things like I love you as a friend!!

Not bad
Loved how the writer weaved the tale with the hero’s reluctance to acknowledge his feelings for the much younger Lydia. Enjoyed the inclusion of the rival who is always a duke, and a beautiful one at that. And the rising of Maxim from the dead. Quite a pleasant read as a whole. Gave it 4 stars cos I didn’t understand the epilogue and it cut short the enjoyment for me.

How to convince the love of your life
Young, precocious girl love an older childhood neighbour. Unfortunately he does not believe in their mutual attraction. Is it destiny or just a young girl’s crush?I found the hero not smart at all, very inconsistent. The constant worry about the age difference was ridiculous, 14 years are not a big gap for that period of time. The happy ending was rushed as well.
