***Good Cables***
Got a dual fan heat sink set up (Ocypus) and needed a 2 into one PWN fan cable as my B550 board only had one outlet for the PWN and these cables work well. Highly recommend if you have two fans that need to 'sync'.

Great for adding more Case Fans
Added two more 140 case fans to my computer top and front. ASUS Motherboard has three case fan connections with back, top and front on them. So, I used these cables to connect the top and front fans together and connected to the motherboard. In the BIOS made adjustments for Fan 1,2, and 3. Checked my CPU fan adjusted to speed up before it started getting too warm slightly instead of after. Works great and plenty of air flow with back and top exhaust and front intake. Thought I might have to change my CPU Cooler but Core Temps good now.

Quality Product, As Expected
I've never been disappointed by Cable Matters and this was no exception. It does exactly what it's advertised to do and the quality of construction is good. Not much else to say except that only one split of this cable is supposed to have four pins. It's completely normal that the other only has 3 pins. This is because 4-pin fan connectors allow for monitoring/adjusting RPMs, and if you had two fans reporting information through the same port you'd run into issues. This splitter will still allow you to adjust RPMs for both fans, just not individually. They'll both run at the same speed. This is normal and expected when using a PWM fan splitter. You can disregard the other reviews calling this a defect. They're mistaken.

Two Fans, One Connector, Zero Problems
These do what they‘re supposed to. I had more fans in the back of the case than there are connections on the motherboard. These adapters fixed that. Seems like they’re well made and they work OK.
