Our garage is big enough but we wanted space to be able to open the liftgate but also enough space to walk a round the front of the car. The "STOP" sign was very easy to put together and to place into position. The sign blinks when you touch it indicating to stop. The only issue is that the base is lightweight and the unit is top heavy so when you just touch it with the nose of the car, it tends to tip over. Easy fix for us was to place a pair of my old sneakers around the base adding the need weight.

I bought it for my daughter. The stop sign flashes when you touch it. She got a big kick out of it. This does the job perfectly.

Stopped working after a month approx. Threw my money away. Edit: I took it completely apart if it was just the 2 LR44 batteries. I love it . Works great. Those who complain about the rod being too flexible or flimsy- it has to be or your car would tip it over. It is designed correctly. I had the same opinion initially but after using it for a month I see why it was designed like that. A++. I can park my car now with only a few inches between the garage door and the back bumper. Works every time. Suggestion: Buy some blue painters tape -“ wide and at opposing corners lay down 2 4” lengths of tape along the sides of the corners. These things can move around ie others in the garage or you may want to move it temporarily if you are working on your car ie oil change. So then visually you can check before you go into the car to leave that it’s in the correct place.

It's a useful product and works, but the skinny tubular pole was poorly designed. They need to make it thicker and higher. They should use a thin-walled 1/2-inch PVC tube or add some tubular padding to make it more sturdy. I may modify it with a PVC tube and add some tubular insulation. If you're in online sales, this product can be easily improved and sold under a different brand. The designer of this product was lazy.

Works as adveritized

Piece of junk to put together. You cant slide the bar into the brackets because screws are sticking out and prevent this. you must slide bar into brackets before installing on wall which is not per instructions. the screws that hold the ski brackets in place do not fit so you must force screw them in with plyers. you must do this while bracket is attached to wall which is not per instructions but necessary. took 1 hr to install a 1o minute job.

I bought these (package of 2) not expecting much -- just satisfying a utilitarian necessity. We park two large SUVs in our two-car garage and we turn them slightly toward each other when parking to leave as much room as possible on either side for walking around, and for charging one of them. We placed these on the floor in the perfect spot for keeping a walking space around and between the cars, me thinking the little things would scoot around when bumped and need replacing again like our previous parking helpers (from another vendor). But, these are great. They don't scoot even when you bump them with your car and they light up red as you get close to them, and they are tall enough one can see them over a tall hood. I like it that you can size the height as you want/need it. In our case I used all extenders for the tallest height. I thought these a little expensive for what they are but after assembling and using them (very easy to assemble) and finding out they don't scoot I believe the money to be worth it. The only downside to the item is that they tend to lean a couple of inches, sometimes sideways, forwards, backward after being bumped so I am always straightening them -- my husband cals it OCD, I call it neat freak -- regardless, all in all, given when it does for us, and how well it does it, I give this 5 stars. My husband says 4. He wishes the item would buzz instead of light up as not everybody sees red. Also, he thinks if one is going to use color, it should shine green until the car is very close, then move to red......men! I told him then we are back to hanging a tennis ball from the ceiling, and he said as it happens he is fine with these parking helpers.
