Petz Catz Playground

I purchased this game as a gift for my niece and it didn't work so I asked for another copy. 1st Video was so helpful and sent me another copy. She is having so much fun with the game that I purchased another game -Petz Catz Playground. I would recommend the games and 1st Video and will order additional games for my niece.

Cute. The best thing is that is links to the other games. The worst thing is the graphics are very distorted on a 3DS screen even with 3D off. It’s meant for a lite.

The quality of game was fine, although the instructions only came in French and not in English. That is kind of a bummer and we had to look online to get instructions on how to play. Everything else was fine.

Game works fine came in perfect condition

As the game title states, this game is about playing with your kitten rather than taking care of it. You cannot groom and wash your cat or clean up the litter box (even though it exists in the background). The most you can do is "cook" for your cat which I found entertaining in the game. However, you cannot give it water. The supplies are obtained from buying it from a shop which you get "money" from feeding your pet/playing games. I like how you leave your actual home to decide to go to a pet store or supply store on a map--it's realistic compared to other cat DS simulations.The graphics are good. The meows are realistic. Despite the game has fun mini games, such as a gymnastic-like game, there isn't much content other than playing with your cats, feeding it, and breeding (Although I didn't get up to that yet. Other reviews mentioned). The game mechanics make it addicting to go back once in a while to play. For that reason, I would give this game more of an 3.8/5 which is closest to a 4 on the Amazon rating system.If you are looking for a game that focuses on caring for a cat, I suggest Purr Pals or Petz Catz 2. Otherwise, this game acts more like a "campaign" to the previous DS cat games focusing on smoother gameplay.

My granddaughter has numerous Petz videos and welcomed one more.

I bought this game for my daughter. She just received a 3DS for her birthday (without a game).She's an animal lover and enjoys this game a lot. The game was a reasonable price and she's happy with it, so I guess I am also :)Will be back to Amazon for more games/products !
