Hitech - Replacement Cordless Phone Battery for BT-446

The batteries from my Uniden handsets died out after getting drained out when we came back from our out-of-town trip (I disconnected all the power supply to all our electronics before we left town) so I had to replace all the batteries in them. The replacement batteries have been great so far. They are a nice, cheap alternative to some of the ones I've seen online.

The battery only lasts a couple days before needing recharge. When new the original battery that came with the phone lasted 10-15 days. This replacement is significantly inferior and only useful if... your original battery can only hold a charge for a couple days AND you don't mind leaving the phone on the charger most of the time AND you don't want to pay the higher price for a good replacement battery

I have had the new replacement battery for over a month now and it works great. My old battery had gotten to the point where my Uniden cordless phone would not even make it through 1 day without needing to be recharged. I usually put the phone back on the charger at night out of habit, but I really don't need to as it still has 100% available at the end of the day no matter how much I've used the phone.

I got this for my grandmothers phone. She is so happy she didnt have to get a new phone.It works very well and it came super quick.

This is not really a review. I just want to state I finally found a good battery for my phone. After several batteries from radio shack that lasted only a couple months it's good to get these that work like they are supposed to. And it's half the price I paid at RS. I will buy two more when these finally give out.

We were excited to be able to get these batteries for our phones, but after just a few days, we were thoroughly disappoited. The phones stopped working. Dont waste your time and money buying these batteries.

I was worried about this battery, being almost half the price of others.. but no issues to report. I've been using them for almost 2 months. The wrapping on the battery is plain green, so I'd recommend writing the model number (BT-446) on it with a Sharpie so it'll be easy to replace next time.

This battery is listed as 800mAh and even shows that written on the battery in the picture. However, the 2 batteries I received were both 700mAh. They do fit in my phones (smaller than the originals) and I cannot comment on their performance yet, but I am not happy with having less capacity than before.
