Great performance, quality hit and miss
I bought two H7 sets for two different cars. The first set was perfect, no issues, These bulbs appear identical to much more expensive SuperNova V3 I bought for my son's car, in every detail except packaging quality control stickers. The design of the LED puts the light source where a halogen filament sits, which makes them work very well in reflector housings. I placed the first set into the low beam of my '05 Mini Cooper and the cutoff is just as clean as with halogen, if not better, but its super bright. Too bright almost, as the light is thrown rather narrow down the road, very unlike HID projectors that spread all that extra light to illuminate the sides of the road better. So here you have extra light concentrated in front of the car - great but the contrast to the edges of the road is amplified. This is likely less pronounced in a projector housing designed for H7 that will spread the light more to the sides. It definitely is bright, if that's what you want. Just make sure you adjust your lights properly, because these will blind oncoming traffic. So I bought a second set, to use in the high beams of my other 2005 Mini Cooper that has HID low beams. Great combo., more light. and no reason to worry about blinding oncoming traffic. They are a tight fit, but I got everything stuffed inside the housings. Good access from the side access hole. Just had to make sure all the heat dissipation ribbons and the driver don't impede the auto-level action inside the housing. So far so good, I turn on the lights for the first time and the passenger light does not put out more light than a nightlight. Swapped the driver with the other side, no change, swapped the bulb with the other side - no change. Both parts broken or my wiring busted? I put in the SuperNova V3 I still have on the shelf and that lights up immediately,After buying two sets of these I have 25% failure rate. Now I need to buy another set, and keep the extra as a spare bulb, No idea about longevity of these bulbs either. I've spent 2 hours total driving with the low beam install, and so far those work fine. Long term, that car will get a full HID projector conversion and the bulbs will be used for high beam duty, where I feel they are a perfect addition to a good HID low beam.If you purchase these bulbs for their performance, I recommend to test these bulbs on a 12V battery so you can immediately return them when they ship you a dud. I'll likely get another set of these. I will consider the extra expense the cost of having one spare bulb should they turn out to be short term performers. So 3 stars - would have been 5 for performance, but the quality control is probably limited to putting stickers on the bulbs, rather than actually testing them.

Like them
Seem very well made and sturdy. Used them in a 2005 Volvo XC70. Installed pretty easy but I did not bother to replace the stock plastic cups. Seem plenty bright enough and I can only hope they last longer than regular bulbs - we've been replacing them every 2 years it seems. I keep cars a long time and dislike doing the replacement enough to justify the 2x cost.8/28/17 - Update. They failed just short of a year - the seller provided a replacement so they seriously back up their products A+A+A+. I don't blame the product, as I think volvo is rough on them with their "always turned on" approach. Research suggests (unconfirmed) when starting the engine there can be power surges that shortens the life of bulbs. Not sure about that, as you'd expect electrical failures all over and volvo to be sloppy....regardless I found on the web how to turn off that default setting - we'll see down the road.

I did buy a set for my Ranger and they work great!
Bought these for my 04 Lincoln Town Car and they will not fit/adapt to the headlamps. On the back of each headlamp is a plastic plate that has to be removed to access the bulb. After removing the plate I discovered that Lincoln does not use a retainer clip to hold bulb in place. Instead they use a plastic sleeve that is held in place with another plastic retainer. It's not the fault of these LED's but I wanted to inform others to check the design of your bulb mounting BEFORE you order LED bulbs. I did buy a set for my Ranger and they work great!

Perfect fit in BMW F30 but terrible quality
Purchased these led bulbs because they’re a perfect fit in the hallogen light housing on the BMW F30 chasis code (BMW 3 series). However they never last more than 12 months before burning out. I’ve gone through 3 sets and I’m not buying another. They don’t last! The Cougar H4 LED slims fit perfectly in the low beams, but not in the high beam socket of the BMW F30. It’s a much better option than these bulbs in terms of brightness and active cooling fan you get with Cougar LED’s.

Easy!! Best $50 I've spent on my car
This went into 2002 CLK320.. It was a breeze putting it on. Plug and play and it's true white..I had bought a SYLVANIA H7 SilverStar zXe High Performance Halogen and PROMPTLY returned it. It was NOT white as I was hoping, though it was brighter but it DOESN'T compare to these LED. Difference on the price $10.. I was afraid of the conversion I will need to do from HALOGEN to LED but with the VK-5S took care of that for me. Easy!! Best $50 I've spent on my car. Plus w/ Halogen, lamp gets super HOT..

Good color, horrible dead spots
Liked the color and the illumination penetrated an acceptable distance down the road. But in projector housings there is a HUGE dead spot right in the center - see attached pics. Also, the mounting ring doesn't allow for changing the orientation of the bulb housing, so I had to let it "float" under the locking spring in order for the housing the clear the heat sink and to do any rotation to attempt to resolve the dead spot (didn't help)H7 for aftermarket projector headlights

Canbus Errors on BMW F800 GS - Lamp out indicator light pops up and bulb goes out
Amazon shows that this product is compatible with my 2012 BMW F 800 GS. I purchased back in April. I was able to install the main headlight, but not the daytime running light. The LED does not fit in the housing. I had to modify my cap to allow the driver wires to run out of the housing... On a motorcycle, water resistant isn't a good idea when they are exposed to the environment, they would need to be waterproof. In any event, the bulb I had installed in April just started going out after 5 months. I put the "spare" in and the issue continued. These are not compatible for motorcycle installation (F 800 GS 2012)

Good product but not a perfect fit.
Arrived when expected and well packed and protected. Product is not a perfect fit as advertised, however, we could adapt it with a little work. Working fine so far.
