get what you pay for
purchased this when i lost my brand name version and wanted to save a few bucks. it's perfectly serviceable, but there is a definite difference between this and the name brand. the basket is not well shaped, the handle feels cheap and unfinished. it will do, but next time i'll pay the extra bucks for the real deal.

Everyone should have one of these
Have a couple in different sizes. I worked in Oriental restaurants back in the late 80s an early 90s and they always use these and I've always had one everyone should have one

A Great Find
This is just wonderful for taking pasta, ravoli, etc from boiling water and draining it to put in sauce. Now that I have it, would find it hard to live without it. Great buy.
