I have an older mega boom three and this battery works perfectly. It charges fast and so far has a long life. I have been using it for a couple weeks

Complete waste of time and money... After installing this just over a month ago, it is now worse off than the Mega Boom 3 battery I replaced. At first it worked great, but this thing literally just sits in my office and failed after a month. I only use to to play music in the office for about half an hour once a week for my staff and ensured that it was fully charged afterwards each time. Now when I start the megaboom 3 it immediately says critical battery and sometimes just shuts right back off... at least the original battery I could play music for 20-30 minutes each time before it shut off and I'd have to recharge it. Don't waste your time and money on this junk... the existing battery you have (even if its basically failing) is better than this thing. What's even worse is after you replace the battery it's no longer waterproof and then your just stuck with a dead speaker.

Came with just one pry plastic bar that had already been used, Followed the video but could only get it have off using many small flat screw drivers etc. I suspect the manufacturer never intended for you to replace the initial battery,Unless you are a bit magical, do not try this at home.

The battery successfully revied my Megaboom, but it was short lived as the battery last for more than a 4 hours when new and died at the 1 year mark. I'd avoid and try a different brand.

Feeling rather discouraged with his battery and because it doesn’t hold a charge as long as the new system that I purchased which has the same battery size. There is a factor shelflife for lithium batteries and I don’t know when this was manufactured but I think it was more than 3 to 5 years ago, could be a lot more…Find another source if you need the size battery
