I ordered these Carpenter Pencils thinking I was finally going to become one of those organized, professional “measure twice, cut once” kind of guys. Instead, I accidentally shipped the first pack to my daughter’s house. Apparently her dog interpreted “construction pencils” as “premium artisan chew sticks.” By the time I got there, the storage container looked like it had survived a police K9 training exercise and the pencils had been reduced to tiny yellow splinters scattered across the living room like a miniature lumber yard explosion. The dog was sitting there proud of herself like she had personally framed a house. So naturally, I had to reorder another pack and send them to the correct address this time. Honestly though, these pencils are fantastic. The flat shape actually keeps them from rolling away every 14 seconds like regular pencils do. They write well on wood, drywall, concrete, and basically anything else in my garage. The sharpener works surprisingly well, and the storage case makes me feel far more professional than I actually am. Strong enough for contractors. Apparently delicious enough for mutts. 5 stars. Would absolutely buy again, preferably before the dog gets another shipment notification.

These are great pencil's.. and sharpen easy with the sharpener that comes with it.

very good Carpenter pencils. They sharpen well. And I like the color. Easy to find.

The carpenter pencils work well. The sharpener is nice to have because the pencils are an odd shape but it doesn't remove the wood evenly or sharpen the graphite to a point. The storage container is great for keeping everything together.

Heavy duty pencils, and the included sharpener is a fantastic addition! No more whittling points with a box cutter blade.

Husband was a contractor and always used these type of pencils. He needed some and I purchased these. He never had a sharpener before and he was surprised there was such a thing. Needless he was happy he didn’t need to sharpen these pencils with a knife. 😊.

How can you mess up pencils, but I liked the clear plastic case so I can find them easily and the sharoener

The pencils are good, they mark nicely and the measurements on the side are handy. But the sharpener was painfully dull- I lost an entire pencil trying to sharpen it. The wood splintered and shattered instead of being cut, and the lead inside would break from the force I had to use. Thankfully I have another sharpener!
