Stud finder
Great stud finder with 3 different thickness to choose from. It automatically calibrate with accurate readings on wood, metal and ac wire . Great product and excellent price.

Accurate enough to count on.
Bought this to find stud to hang TVs worked perfectly. You can set the screws knowing you have the center so the stud will not split. Hard to get confidence there but this does it.

Surprisingly good for what it is
Don't get me wrong this is a far cry from the high end scanners but for the price it's hard to beat. Accuracy is fine for both wood studs and electrical. I'd recommend to take a few extra passes just to be certain especially if you are near wires.

3rd time's the charm! Love the accuracy and ease.
This is the 3rd stud finder I've purchased, and the 5th overall I've used while doing installs in my studio. I waited until I put the finder through several tasks before leaving this review, and this is definitely a keeper. The interface is straight forward and easy to operate, but more importantly this bad boy is ACCURATE and well priced. I rather not go into how many "mistake holes" I've dealt with due to unreliable stud finders, but suffice to say it's been plenty. With this, it was one and done FINALLY. I fully recommend for your tool box.

Works
Stud finder works, but sensors like anything require some human interpretation. Don't simply rely on the arrows - I've had to adapt and use common sense to locate the meat of a stud, as the indicator give you a wider range than your stud is wide.On a whole, it's nice that it detects electric current and metal as well, couldn't argue with that for safety.
