Generally, I don't buy gun accessories on Amazon. Weapons are expensive and typically dangerous if mishandled, so I normally buy from reputable stores that specialize in firearms accessories. Now, I own a Walther P99 FE, and parts are lacking due to being discontinued. One aspect of the pistol that could use an upgrade is the grip. If you ever shot or handled the P99 you know that plastic grip isn't very grippy. The covert clutch was a god sent. It fit incredibly tight, which is good! You don't want a rubber grip that will get loose. Putting it on is a little laborious but once it's on its staying. It's made of a rather cheap rubber so cuts will slice right through, but don't let that be a detrimental to your buying desicion. This grip is for comfort and control. It will do both perfectly fine! Highly recommend!

I added this grip sleeve to one of my firearms, and it made an immediate difference in how secure it feels in my hand. The hex pattern provides plenty of traction without being overly aggressive, so it’s comfortable during long range sessions and still offers a solid grip with wet or sweaty hands. The material fit snugly, stayed in place after installation, and hasn’t shown any signs of shifting or wearing out. I also like that it’s made in the USA and has a quality feel that’s immediately noticeable. If you’re looking for an easy upgrade that improves comfort and control, this grip sleeve is well worth it.

Summary: Great price! Decent overall. Buy to enhance a bad grip, skip if you already have a good one. I installed this on top of a Magpul MOE+ K2, which is a $25 AR15 pistol grip. If you have an AR15 I recommend you skip this, and look around for a rubberized AR15 grip like the one above, which are mostly around $25 to $35. Since good pistol grips for many guns aren't that expensive, you should probably just get one instead if you can. * Comfort: 4.5: It adds a little bit of padding, is moderately grippy, and reasonably comfortable. It's also just as grippy when wet. The downside is it's not quite as nice as a well designed pistol grip. It also adds thickness to the grip, which throws off the ergonomics. If the grip you have is too small, or you have large hands, then the thickness might be a nice bonus. * Quality: 4.5: I have no complaints about the quality, the look, materials, or anything similar. It looks exactly like the pictures. * Install 3: Install was a little bit of a pain, but I got it eventually. I mostly just went around the grip clockwise moving it a few millimetres at a time. You only need to install it once, so this shouldn't deter you. * Practicality: 3.5: As with my previous comment, it's not super practical for an AR-15, because of how easy it is to replace the pistol grip with one that's very affordable and comfortable. If you can't replace the grip on your gun, then go with this instead. Other: I might try trimming this, and installing it on a single-stack pistol that I have to thicken the grip. It also weighs 0.551 oz (ounces) according to my scale.

Awesome! It's nice and tight and it did take some adjusting to make it fit. Looks good and my pistols a lot more comfortable in my hand now.

Very nice product

The Covert Clutch grip works and looks nice but I overall don't like it. It adds thickness as every slip-on grip does but not much. It definitely changes the feel of the grip as it smooths out the contours but it seems to do this too much. The grip on my HTA stock has some nice contours to it but also some sharp sarations. The Covert Clutch grip blends it all together so that all you feel is the hexagonal pattern. I guess that I've been pampered by Tuff1 grips. Those are paper thin and keep the original contour while covering anything sharp, I just think that the hex pattern of the clutch grip looks nicer. This grip is also long and I had to cut about a half inch off of it. This item shipped free, but it shipped via USPS. USPS has had some major issues lately, and my grip arried 5 days late. I've ordered 6 things in the past 2 months that have shipped via USPS, and all of them have been several days late. The seller ships quickly but the carrier is terribly slow. Be prepared to wait.

Ok to all the people saying it’s a inner tube for a tire there nuts!!!! Is it Magpul NO... Is it butler creek NO but it does work great and helps with adding more grip and for 7$ it’s worth it now if you want something that’s gonna last FOREVER and say Magpul and that it’s cool looking etc then yes this isn’t it but again for 7$ that’s got texture LOOKS good on my 2 ARs it’s worth the money and the seller is AWESOME he actually sent me a new color for FREE to try out but it didn’t work right so he gave me another textured one again for FREE until he fixes the newer ones he’s testing. Worth the money. First the shipping was fast. Love the grip fits real nice does take a little bit to get it on but once it’s on it looks nice feels good on the hand and adds a lot more grip when holding my AR will buy more. Thanks again. BTW my AR is decked out in Magpul just needed some or a little better grip!!!!

I installed this grip on my Sniper 370 crossbow because the spur on the top part of the grip caused my finger ( that has been deformed from an accident ) to hurt while gripping it. This sleeve went on very nice not easy but it fit like a glove once I got it on, I used some rail lubricant to help it slide over the grip( just a little bit goes a long way so don't over do it) which seemed to make it easier to position it. Boy does it feel nice now no more sore finger and it is a little tacky feeling and helps with your grip and the position of your fingers it feels much better to me now, I think it's well made and I didn't see any made in china on the packaging. It is a great addition to my crossbow and if you have this style grip on your Xbow and are in need of something like this I would recommend this product. I like it!
