Frida Kahlo: The Revolutionary Painter!

Loved her wonderful story. She was certainly a wonderful artist. I did not think that some of the information in this book was okay for elementary school kids. Young Frida was portrayed as a rebellious student that played tricks on the teachers with illustrations that went along with it. I wouldn't want my child to read that and see the illustrations. Frida was a strong supporter of communism. Though true, this message was not okay for an elementary school child to be reading.....maybe an older child.I am returning the book. We have almost all of the Show Me History books. My granddaughter loves them and has read them all many times.
