Excellent phone choice even in 2025
I purchased this phone over 2 years ago. It's still going strong. No battery issues, no heating issues. I've dropped the phone many times and the screen has never cracked. It performs just like the day it came out. The only complaint I have is that there is no audio jack or SD card slot. Sometimes I prefer just plugging my phone in rather than connecting to Bluetooth. The backside of phone scratches more than the screen. But as I've already stated, the screen is very durable and strong unlike the previous versions.

No issues as of 1 week in
Received phone within 3 days - product packaging: wasn't very good, if the carriers weren't careful and jostled the box around or dropped it I could see the glass cracking as there wasn't any foam around the phone, i however didnt experience this. unlocked status: I'll be honestly I have Verizon as my carrier and I did not experience any issues but I did read in the comments that some people did not get fully unlocked phones - I personally did not have any issues, battery upon arrival: was at about 50% when arrived, its not a big deal, when you get an electronic item that requires charging you're usually instructed to fully charge before anything any ways, took about 1.5 days to get down to 15 % from the original charge of 50%. battery life: I haven't had any issues as of yet, battery life will always be different depending on how many apps you have open, what your operating system settings are and other factors so you can always change the settings to preserve more battery life if you want. There hasn't been any specific days that the battery went dead crazy fast or anything. The included charger: TERRIBLE! lol its not a huge deal it's a nice bonus item but the charger connects and the phone states it's not the proper charger and will get to 100% in like 10 hrs so I'd recommend getting a better charger for the phone, as the phone was relatively cheap its not a big deal and I won't be docking any stars for it. Phone camera: I had the iPhone XR prior to buying this and I took the same exact picture with both phones determining that the Samsung actually took a better picture than the iPhone xr. Not by too much but the lighting did seem better in the Samsung picture than the iPhone. I've had no issues transferring all my information and honestly I'm really happy with this purchase. I wanted a quality phone but I didn't want to pay anything over $400 for a phone. I recommend getting a phone from Amazon, they have never given me any issues if I've had a problem with any of my items and as this phone is being sold by their company you'll have an easier time getting any issues fixed, just know that getting anything that's refurbished will have a chance of having issues, good luck 👍Edit: have now had phone for about a month, no other issues other than takes a while to charge on normal chargers but I have found a work around and it doesn't affect how long the phone keeps a charge, I've not charger my phone for about 2 days used it mildly and still have about 12 %

Display died after only 12 days.
I purchased this Samsung S21 Plus that was refurbished supposedly to excellent condition. It was the delivered on September 16th 2024. Today I am writing this review and it is September 28th 2024. This morning I got up like every morning and picked up my phone to check emails and messages and was on the phone for approximately 5 minutes when all of a sudden the screen went black. I can hear the buttons functioning when I touched the black screen but could see nothing. I have the exact same phone which is my old one that still works so I put them side by side and used my phone as a guide for the positions of the buttons on the phone with no screen. After turning the phone on and off several times and recycling it still no screen. Took the phone down to repair center and they told me the display is shot. I could not send the phone out back to Amazon because it has all of my data and information in it personal and Financial. Therefore, I was forced to pay the repair center $200 to replace the screen. The short of it is, I would be very careful with this company. Obviously they do nothing with the phones except clean them up replace some aesthetic parts and put them in a brown cardboard box and ship them out. I wasted 275 on this phone when I could have bought a brand new one for an additional $100 off of eBay in a sealed box. The moral of the story is don't try to cheap out. More importantly I would definitely rethink buying from this vendor because their products are substandard.

So far so good
So far, working as expected. It came not fully prepared for set up (developer tools on its screen/ not fully cleared), but easily finished this as I have a so who worked on phones previously. Only a few things I'm not crazy about - one is all of the interruptions in the first few days for updates and with all the various Samsung, Google etc "tips" and pop ups, new apps, etc. This phone has a lot more features/capabilities than the S9 I had for the past few years. The second ( and I don't know if this is a app or the phone's issue) but I can't find a way to get to a keyboard layout on my SwiftKey keyboard that has the Y and the Z in the correct places. I'd rather use the swift key than the Samsung keyboard but I guess I'll just have to get used to typing the Y at the bottom instead of at the top. The battery life is very good too for used phone

So so
My first phone was excellent, this one is not so nice. It has scratches all over the bezel. The screen and back are great. If I wasn't traveling next week I would send it back for another one but I will just have give a low review and keep it
